"I had been searching for a vendor to provide a nice finish to a small area (~750 square feet) in my backyard in Long Beach. I needed to either refinish some old concrete or pour new and dovetail the surface to the ground level entrance to part of my home, my back alley and a putting green on the side of my house. I am not in the construction trade but have acted as a general on the addition to my house and had some idea of what could be done. "After we agreed on the estimate and the plan they quickly contacted me with dates, and were able, in the end, to start a few days earlier than planned. The work was done by two teams, one for demolition and the second for laying gravel, then sand, then the pavers. Each team was professional and efficient; clearly, they are used to doing exactly these sorts of jobs, and everyone knew how to work independently and together. I was impressed with their focus and skill, and their attention to detail. They kept cleaning up as they worked, so there was no mess to deal with during or after the job [although, of course, breaking and removing concrete is noisy and leaves dust]. They were able to move my many potted plants and furniture to the side and back of the house, without damage, and then to return things to their place at the end. When the concrete demo damaged some tiles on the steps, they were able to replace them without trouble [fortunately, I had extra tiles that matched the ones damaged]. The job was done efficiently and faster than I imagined -- demo was one day, and the installation -- including a day at the end to let the sealer dry -- took about a week. The final result was exactly what I hoped, and I am enjoying it immensely every day."

"Today, Kris and one of his employees came to remedy my complaints.  He explained that he hired a tile layer (who did my job) through a general contractor who he often works with and offered to find the same limestone and have someone else replace the tiles that were gouged, chipped and not layer evenly at no additional cost.  The other alternative was to sand down the lip of the poorly placed tiles and grout.  I chose the later. In addition, they cleaned and grouted areas that they missed before.  
Kris was eager to remedy the problems I identified and put me on his schedule to clean my limestone floors next year at no charge.  He is truly and gentleman, eager to do a good job for me, who had the misfortune of a couple of problem employees who no longer work with him."
