"When we decided to finally upgrade our fence, we scoped out some of the fences in our neighborhood. One of the fences that stood out for its craftsmanship and beauty had a CLM Home Improvements sign on it. I contacted Carlos for a quote and he was responsive, professional, and polite. Carlos listened to our concerns, offered suggestions, and gave us a few options to choose from. We were concerned this process might take a while because we live on a corner and our fence required a permit. In fact, another fence company wouldn't even work with us because our project required a permit. Carlos kept us informed throughout the permit process, which was not as bad as we had anticipated. On installation day, Carlos and his team arrived promptly and removed our old, ugly chain link fence and installed a beautiful 6' wooden privacy fence. We couldn't be more thrilled with it! As far as pricing, CLM's price was the best -- in one case nearly $5K LOWER than what another company quoted us! "After a big hailstorm in our area, EA knocked on the door and urged us to have our home owners insurance come out and survey the roof and siding to see if there was any damage. I'm so glad we did, because the insurance company recommended that we replace the entire roof! EA Roofing came out to my house to go over all my options, and even upgraded me to a better kind of shingles for free! They installed the new roof quickly (about a week after that meeting) and they were very professional. The new roof looks great!

"I contacted Earth Friendly Services this morning and I immediately received a reply.  Phil contacted me and I asked for a proposal for installing my new light.  He responded and said he would be at my home in about 15 - 20 minutes.  His responsiveness was exact. He arrived in about 15 minutes. I showed him the light fixture and he said it was no problem and he could do it today.  I also asked him if he would also install a new electrical outlet in my foyer and again he said no problem.  Phil installed the light fixture and the electrical outlet that day and he did a fantastic job.  He was very professional and the quality of work was awesome.  I was also very pleased on the price.  I have put Earth Friendly Services number in my phone book and I will sure use them again.  Thanks Phil!

They put in a lot of crappy boards. They were the only ones that I found that replied that would put in the fence that I wanted. Most of it was very good, but, of course, on the far side of the yard I found lots of boards that were not up to snuff. Eight years ago they got the fence in. I wasn't there (when they did the work). I would use them again in the future only if I stood over them with a shotgun. They could have used better boards and given me a lighter gauge. I wasn't there for the most part and they were all Hispanic so I've got no idea how the workers were, but the contractor that was watching over them had no complaints.

"The process began with their designer, Jean, coming to the house and discussing what we wanted and offering some ideas.  Within days we had an estimate and design.  We revised from there and agreed to the work.  They actually were able to being early as another job had to be delayed as the people were not ready for them.  The workers were good and efficient and Colin, the owner, made certain work proceeded well and any questions we had were promptly answered.  Their workmanship is wonderful.  The stairs and decking on them are great with added touches that made them work for getting to the yard better than expected.   The pavers are beautiful and perfectly installed and the retaining wall is simply outstanding -- the have great stone workers.  All nice to work with and attentive to us and detail.

"Oscar was wonderful, very knowledgeable and very good at explaining what needed to be done.  They didn't have the damper system in the truck however were willing to return the same day to install.  I was very pleased!

"They mislead me by saying they were coming to install when they were really coming to give an estimate. I felt like I was being spoken down to because they were trying to explain something to me, but I already knew what it meant. They assumed I didn’t know what they were talking about. The deal isn’t going to work out because of extra costs."

"The light fixture was installed correctly. One faucet was only half installed. The other was installed but leaked because it was not installed properly. They rushed as they were more concerned about the time. It was supposed to be 1 person for 3 hrs or 2 for 1.5 hrs. With 2 people only one actually works and the other watches. I now have to hire a plumber to complete one installation and redo the other because water stands in the sink. Plumbing is obviously not their area of expertise!!!! Would never hire again."
