"We had a large tree fall against our home during an intense storm that caused widespread tree damage throughout the city. Called Lou's early Saturday morning and told them we had an emergency. Lou and a member of his team were at our house in less than 30 minutes. They immediately got to work cutting away the worst branches from the ground & roof. They reached a break point and left to go get the machinery to remove the remaining massive trunk. They returned shortly with a full crew and several large trucks and a chipper. They did some complex rigging and got everything out efficiently, and chipped or hauled away all debris. They then raked and cleaned up and were done by late afternoon (which is amazing given the scope of the damage and removal). Throughout the process, Lou and his crew were hard working, polite, and pleasant. That meant a lot to us under the stressful circumstances. Lou clearly knows his work, and was great to work with. I noticed one other review here that was very negative - our experience could not have been any more night and day, so I am suspicious of whoever wrote it. I would not hesitate to use them again, or recommend them to anyone else."
