"Rebuilt or renovated most of my home. Replaced floors, painting, crown molding, siding, windows,refinished floors, put in tile, and even put in my garage door openers. He redid the shower and all of the bathroom. Everything he has done he has done with great expertise. He will help find solutions and help with designs. Showed him what I wanted that was a little complicated and came out beautiful. Been using him for years and always done extremely good job. Recommended him to others that had storm damage and they have nothing but good things to say. Nothing he cant do. Also very professional, can trust him in my house by himself. "When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."
