"This was a great experience.  From the start Micah separated himself from the other companies that we spoke to about our project.  First, we wanted a company that could do everything for us.  We found lots of patio guys, and lots of landscapers, but not many that did both on top of drainage work.
I scheduled an appointment for a quote.  Micah was the third quote that I had received.  Micah took his time in working up an exact quote for me.  He answered a lot of questions for me.  I appreciated him giving me options, but also his recommendation.  Micah was the most expensive of the three quotes.  However, I hired him as I felt that he understood my needs better than the other companies, and was going to deliver a professional outcome.  Frankly, I trusted Micah.
I ended up delaying the start of the project for personal reasons.  Micah was very understanding and worked with us on changing the start date.  This project was very intimidating to my wife and I .  And not to mention it was a lot of money.  Micah walked us through every step.
When the project started his team arrived as scheduled and began to work.  All of the team was professional and very polite.  They answered all of our questions.  It was very hot when they were working.  I was so impressed with their work ethic.  Their attention to detail was amazing.  
At one point their Bobcat damaged our vinyl siding.  They informed us of the damage and replaced the vinyl siding the next day.
Like any large outdoor project, weather became a factor.  Micah kept us well informed when the weather forced a call off for the day.  The project did take longer than estimated.  However, this is no one's fault.  These large projects run into changes.  I credit Micah for keeping us informed daily. 
And the estimate stuck.  I give Micah a ton of credit for that.
Whatever technique they used to re-seed the grass worked beautifully.  Now, we have a beautiful patio and yard.  The drainage issues that we were having are now non-existent.

"Because of the weather, the project got off to a slow start.  But, once Rochell began, the project was completed very quickly and professionally.  Rochell was very responsive in making changes to the patio design we requested. They also created a computer-generated patio layout  for us to review.   Their design guidance early-on helped us get the final results we were looking for.
The project turned out very good, and we are thrilled with the results!

"Of several firms contacted for an estimate, owner Ron Diersing was the only one who gave me a firm estimate, as well as a detailed explanation of what he would do.  he gave me a courtesy call the night before the job and 30 minutes before arriving.  Despite 98 degree heat and a job site that required hauling in buckets of cement by hand, Ron and his brother finished in 1 day, with a few touch-ups the following morning.

I am over-the-moon happy with the porch pad replacement.  It looks great, drains water away from the house, and evens out what was a jarring step from the house and to the back steps.  And they did minimal damage to the surrounding garden.

I was slightly less happy with the low retaining wall across the front of the property, mostly because it was poured on top of  the sidewalk rather than the yard, as I'd requested.  And also because it did not have permanent drainage holes built in. (When he stopped by the following morning, Ron drilled several holes at the base of the wall for drainage.)  To be fair, we did not discuss the wall in as much detail, and I did not come out and check the forms as they were setting them up, which could have headed off the problem.

When Ron gave me the estimate, we discussed the broken curb and he eplained the difference between patching and replacing the curb, and I said I would probably have it patched at a later date.  Altho' it was not part of the original estimate, at the end of the day he patched the worst spots at no extra charge.

Overall, I was happy with the job, the price and the overall experience."

"As is common with Angie's List special deals, the service was extremely over subscribed and the process was not executed until the winter had passed, the 2014 spring rains subsided and the lawn was finally aerated.  I saw no seeding or fertilization on the lawn or the driveway. It was not worth the time and effort to call again and have the issue resolved.  I will probably use them again, but will take time off from work to closely supervise the actions and insure I receive everything I am paying for.

"Oh my gosh. These guys are amazing and super sweet! I have a lot of expensive landscape and trees and somehow they got all the trees down, cut up for my fire pit (stacked neatly) and did not harm one plant/tree/bush. They raked up all the twigs and sawdust and even used the blower to clean up the area. When they left, you could never tell anyone had removed that volume of trees that day. It also was a downpour during their work and they kept working right through it. I was amazed. I am so thankful for this crew because I could never do this on my own. The price was amazing! I WILL use them in the future!"
