"Patio Room Factory replaced a 30 year old Florida room for me. It was great experience from start to finish. They worked with me to insure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. They were patient, responsive and helpful as I had a lot of questions. Demo of the old room and the rebuild couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The workmanship and materials are top notch. Highly recommend!"

"Absolutely the worst! We started the process with Sunspace in the fall of 2024 and were told it would possibly be done by thanksgiving. They didn?t even start until February 2025! At the 1/2 point of the build we asked if we could see the warranty information and we were told that they would only show us that information once paid in full. I currently have a patio room that has leaks every time it rains and makes very loud popping noises. They?ve come to fix the leaks about 4 times to no avail and now say ?we can try and see if ** can come out between jobs?. It?s been over two weeks. The loud popping noises?.they will ask the manufacturer. Update 10/19/2025- have contacted BBB - Updated review: max and his team showed up shortly after calling me to yell at me about my review. They did do some work but now April 2026 and still leaks and still pops and still wood spotting. Terrible experience- so much money gone. Called lawyers today. "

"The structural defect was a complex job. It required placing scaffolding under the affected area to use a jack to level the roofline. The defective structural post was removed and replaced. The roofline alignment was corrected without damage to the patio structure. This work was accomplished in one day by two very skilled workers."

"Beacom Construction Co LLC was extremely professional when it came to repairing the water damage caused by an improperly installed shower pan when the house was initially constructed. Years of slow leakage caused the subfloor to fail under the shower and kitchen sink areas. Beacom Construction was able to come in and make repairs in a very manner keeping the costs reasonable and not creating extra unneeded work as others had quoted. If another project is required at my home I would rehire Beacom Construction immediately."

"It went well. Dave was very professional to deal with during the construction of our deck and keeping us informed of changes. The carpenters, Cyle and Dakota were fantastic. They built the deck from the footers to completion of railings, decking, privacy panels and steps. They too were very professional, always ready to answer our questions and listen to our input. They showed up early, worked quietly and cleaned up their equipment after every workday. The project was scheduled to take about 3 weeks but because of manufacturing delays in material shipments took about 9 weeks."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Howard, OH

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
