"Our main project work was performed in April and May 2017 with some subsequent work after we completed a new master bath in January 2018. The drywall repair phase in 2017 encountered unforeseen issues due to improper work done by a contractor used by the previous owners. While the cost of the project increased accordingly, Doug Fox (owner of Wolverine Custom Painting) was particularly good with clear communication and transparency as we expanded the project scope. The Wolverine craftsmen that performed the cabinetry, drywall and structural/fastener solutions for high ceiling drywall features were extremely thorough and skilled. The painting crew were excellent and took great pride in their work. Given the unusual nature of this home (in a Frank Lloyd Wright tradition) we are extremely pleased with the end result that highlights the barrel ceilings and interior features of this beautiful home. Wolverine Custom Painting was a 'one-stop shop' for us that exceeded all our expectations."

"Tom and his team helped me with a deck installation. His team were highly skilled and professional on this project. I also appreciated their candor Tom only quoted for labor and helped me to procure the material required for the deck install. He even transported some of the material from the lumber yard to my house at no cost (As we needed more material). As the old deck was rotting and we needed to change much more lumber than was anticipated Tom did not charge me anything extra for his efforts. They went above and beyond my expectation on this project. Tom also kept me and my wife informed about the schedule on this project. It was completed on time and within budget. "It worked out just fine. I had no problems at all. They came when they were supposed to come. They had two guys. I think it took a little bit longer, we were hoping they could maybe squeeze in a few more things. But we had the two hours and they were actually there a little longer and didn't charge us any more. They were great. No complaints. I wasn't really happy with the way the ceiling job turned out, but it really wasn't their fault. We were basically putting a square fan in what used to be a round hole. So the ceiling needed to be patched, but they did what they were supposed to do. And they did best with what we had, because we had already bought the things for them to install. I would not hesitate to call them back to get another quote for something else. We had to go in and change the thing in the faucet. I wish he had told us when we were installing it, because it had this stop so the water would not get real hot, and it would have been nice for them to give us the opportunity to change that. We didn't know anything about it and then we had to go online and figure out how to change that. The water wasn't hot enough. I would have like them to give us the heads up on that. But other than that everything else was fine. The quality of the work was no problem."

"It was perfect. I hired Roger because I trusted him. His company did work for me in 2013 and I was very pleased then. I am even more pleased now! I thought I needed to replace the siding all the way around my house (it's 40 years old). A neighbor painted his and, while it looked okay, the painting was so expensive that I thought I'd see if there was an in-between solution. Roger said he could replace just the south side (first and second floor) and match the existing front and back. I got home tonight and the work is PERFECT. The south side (attached garage on lower level, my office and a bedroom on upper level) have new siding that perfectly matches the 40-year-old stuff AND everything looks new. They did a wonderful job sealing up everything tightly and I couldn't be more pleased. Roger visited this house twice to look at the work as the job specs changed (I kept asking questions and I had some brick work done in between). He was on time, charged a fair price, and confirmed last week that he would be here today. I didn't call or expect a call yesterday, and I had an early appointment at a client's place this morning. Roger called me first thing to say his crew was at my house and he was heading over to check on things. We talked about the job and he informed me that my office window had some messy caulk - he cleaned it up and made sure it was sealed tight for winter.
