"Excellent work from start to finish. My father was a mason, so I know great work when I see it. First, they brought in a tear-down team to remove the chimney down to the first-floor roof level of our two-story house. After which, they rebuilt the chimney to original height installing approximately 900 new bricks using a new Type N mortar. They installed a new 5" thick concrete crown with a 2" drip edge and an expansion joint. They replaced all accessible sections of fireplace clay flue tile extending 4" - 6" above the concrete crown. Installed new stainless steel chimney cap. Installed 2 sets of new step and counter flashing. Installed 2 sets of new ice water shields and shingles as needed. Cleaned and weather sealed chimney entirely upon completion. After the chimney rebuild was done, the Mason, Seth, and his crew cleaned the work site, to include the whole driveway. They are a very efficient and thorough team. I understand that they like to leave the customer's house and yard as clean or better than they find it."

"I hired them to sweep the chimneys for my fireplace and woodburning stove. A tech arrived on time and was pleasant. However he admitted he was new to the company and industry and after looking at the fireplace and woodburning stove informed me that he was not familiar with the two systems and could not do the work. He took pictures and told me his boss- the company owner- would call me the following week to set a time for a more experienced person to do the work. They never called. I called twice and left messages that were not returned. I appreciate the fact the tech did not try and do the job he was not comfortable with and mess something up. However very disappointed they did not call back or at least return my calls. I guess they were not interested since it was a more challenging job."

After the first day I called Dave about some concerns I and questions about the work. Dave came to my house early the next day of work. He satisfactorily addressed all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. When his crew arrived a few minutes later he talked with the crew about what needed to be done. Two crews performed the work on my chimney both did excellent work. One crew included his son. Both crews worked very hard to compete the work in a timely manor and with quality. The both did great job of clean-up before leaving. I would recommend Miami Valley Chimney to my neighbors and anyone needing this type of work."

"We were very happy with the complete process. Dustin was very helpful working with our insurance company, who required several visits to OK the replacement. Once roof was ok'd, the company stayed in contact to set up the replacement date. The materials were delivered a few days before replacement, and all went as promised on replacing the roof. A project manager was on site to discuss any concerns. Plywood was placed in front of Windows to protect them during tear off. The work was completed in one day. The debris was removed completely. "Dana McElroy presented a professional presentation on what would be accomplished, and warranties, and how long it would take to accomplish the job. I had two other roofing companies present their work, and noticed that the other two were charging too much, and not letting me have the details of the job. Dana did schedule the job, which was late into the season, the team showed up early in the morning, worked like busy beavers, and even worked into the darkness to make sure the job was completed on time. The job was accomplished at a high rate, it was accomplished professionally, when I went to depart my house one of the workers made sure I had a safe path to walk. I noticed some wood required to be patched, and it was accomplished with no extra cost charged. If I require any work in the future I will be sure to give Dana and the company he represents a call.
