Now that the work is completed I have water pipes that are up to code, an electrical box installed that's up to code along with new gfci breakers, and a backup generator system that will run the whole house if the power goes out. "We worked with S&W to renovate a kitchen, powder bathroom, hall bathroom and completely create a bathroom. It was a huge, huge process. We have a 1930s colonial and we were looking for someone that could create rooms that would fit in the vibe of this home, but be very functional and durable for our young family. We followed Larissa, our designer, on Instagram and contacted her - she met with us quickly and was bubbling over with ideas for our project. Larissa is talented, organized, incredibly responsive and detail-oriented. She has a knack for creating spaces that are gorgeous and functional. She understands how a family actually lives in a home and helped guide my husband and I in selecting layouts, fixtures, and products that would support our needs. Larissas team is also fantastic - they’re equally dedicated to producing quality work, even on hard jobs. Related to the construction side of S&W… this is always going to be a little tricker b/c to my knowledge NO ONE loves living in construction, which is exactly what we did (with a toddler). However, hindsight being 20/20, I will say that the teams selected by S&W did quality work. Certainly there were times that I felt that we needed more communication, more results. But, overall, our end product is superb. Additionally, there was always a person to escalate a problem to and the problem was always handled. Anything that we found to be less than, they’d work to get fixed. Even after our project wrapped, Mike (our PM by the end) dispatched relevant teams to correct any small issues that cropped up. In addition to the gorgeous end product in our kitchen and 3 bathrooms, I'd say a huge benefit is that S&W will stick to their word, they will show up, they will answer their phones (even after the project is wrapped). Which I think is pretty unique and shows a level of quality that I would recommend."
