"During a recent heavy rainstorm, our porch roof started leaking enthusiastically. I found Anthony Mitchell (Tar Star Roofing) through Angi and I’m so glad I did. He was able to come by that very day and inspect the roof. He was very upfront about cost which I appreciated. We were expected another round of rain at the beginning of the following week, so he rearranged things to be able to fit me in just 2 days later. He completed the work within one day. Throughout the process he gave me updates on what he was doing, and explained everything clearly. While inspecting the property Anthony noticed that the railing on our side deck was coming loose, causing a hazard to the cars parked under it. He very kindly secured it for us, and didn’t even charge us. I will definitely hire him for future projects!"

"We had Power do our Roof and Gutters on our 120 year old home. This is our first big project on our new house and Power made the experience great. Their were a couple of hiccups but Power was able to rectify the situations. The project was supposed to be a 2 day project, but when taking the old shingles off they noticed the roof decking needed to be repaired because of significant wood rot. They finished the total project in 4 days. Power met every expectation. One part of the process that was a little frustrating was that I didn’t have one point person to talk to if I had questions. I had multiple project managers but I did get all my questions answered when I called. We would definitely recommend them to anyone."

"It went very well.  The owner, Richard Farina, suggested using an "architectural" shingle, which is heavier and should last for 30 years as opposed to 20 for most other types of shingle.  They installed Grace ice and water shield up to a distance that we requested. <br /> <br /> We had one small leak this past storm on the front porch from the front corner of our bedroom dormer.  They were very responsive and came back the same day called and applied additional caulking between the roof shingles and the siding shingles, where a gap had been created.  I was pleased with their prompt responsiveness."

"THey removed some rotted siding on my side porch and replaced it with pressurized wood exactly fitting in, then painted it to match. ALso pressure washed the slate roof of the porch which was covered with lichen. ALso cleaned the gutters out. THe roof looks like new! DId it all in one day and were very efficient and polite.
