"They first came out to do a routine check and informed us of what we should / needed to do to have our fire place perform better. The quote they provided was very reasonable. We decided to install a rain cap after the sweep and getting an appointment was very easy. The technician arrived early and completed the work quickly."

"The crew arrived on time and did a thorough job. The reason this rating isn't higher is because the crew chief had been in my house no more than 10 minutes before diagnosing what he said was a dangerous level of creosote in our chimney and recommending installation of a $1,000+ chimney liner, which his company would of course be happy to sell us. I said no, thanks. The next year I hired another service - Emener ([*** Link removed ***] - which told me that the chimney was actually in good shape and pretty clean considering how much we use the fireplace. 5 Star clearly used its promotional offer as a way to upsell an expensive add-on that I am now convinced wasn't needed. Beware of deals that look too good to be true."

"Professional work by Kevin Fredrickson, the owner.  He was knowledgeable and explained the issues with our chimney.  He offered reasonable fixes at a reasonable price and explained why he was doing the work he suggested.
He arrived on time in the early morning, and worked straight through the day.  Got up on the roof to check things out and told me what he had found.  Came inside to look at the chimney from that angle.   He inserted a stainless liner, and recommended a rain cap to help protect the chimney.  He went about his business knowing exactly what needed attention.  He cleaned up after himself when he was done.
Very pleasant guy, nice chatting with him.  If I ever had a need for brick work, I would call him.
It's nice to know the chimney is in good condition and safe now.

"Jason is a true professional, and takes pride in his work. We have a stone chimney that was once very beautiful but was in desperate need of repair. This chimney is on a flat roof, we have a new Duralast rubber roof system over it, it is a fairly new product. Jason really did his homework on this roof system, he spoke to Duralast professionals to get a thorough understanding of this product and was very careful not to void our warranty. Jason repointed the chimney, added new lead flashing, a new chimney cap, and waterproofing. I am happy to say the Chimney looks beautiful once again and is completely water proof. Jason's pricing was very fair and I was very impressed with his work. I highly recommend Peak Chimney."

"For years we have used a differeny chimney sweep company, but they have raised their prices dramatically, so we were looking for an alternative for the annual cleaning. We found Bob's Magic Broom through Angie's list and they have been absolutely fantastic. They will have us as new customers for life. Great price, great service, clean, punctual, and professional. I rate them A+."

"I hired this company to repair my mother’s chimney. They came when they said they would, did a beautiful job and cleaned up the entire area once completed. My mother was happy and so was I as I do not live local so I went with them on a limb. Great work and great crew!"

"Certified Chimney Prompt and Professional Service! Our recent urgent necessity to replace our boiler heating system exposed the need for chimney repairs for the efficiency and safety of the new furnace system. Jamie from Certified Chimney fully diagnosed the issues and had numerous pictures taken to document the problems. His explanation was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Jamie answered all our questions in a courteous and helpful manner. In communicating with the main office, Jamie worked with George to secure financing for the urgently needed repairs. The chimney liner, cap and masonry work were exceptionally done. Clean up of the roof and yard was above expectations. It was a pleasure doing business with Certified Chimney in a stressful and urgent home repair situation. We will definitely use again and recommend to others needing chimney services!
