"I originally called Nick's Plumbing to fix a kitchen faucet that I could not fix myself. David had it repaired in about 5 minutes. I was embarrassed that I couldn't figure it out myself. We are planning to retire in our current home. The tankless system seemed to make sense for us now and into the next 10 to 20 years. I plan to have THIS hot water system regularly serviced so that we get more than 12 years use out of it. David and Jorge got all the parts and materials to replace the old water heater with the new tankless system. This included replacing the roof vent - tankless requires something different than a tank. I was home when they initially arrived and when we negotiated the replacement. I had to leave for work but my wife was there while they worked. She said they departed about 4 pm so it was an all - day job. Nobody replaces their water heater on a whim. Something bad has to happen - like a leak or no hot water. I got lucky. I replaced my hot water heater by talking to an experienced plumber about annoying issues.
