After vetting out several contractors to decide between composite or pressure treated wood, we found Eli to be professional, straightforward and reasonable when it came to our ideas on what we wanted in a deck. His timeline and pricing was the best. He presented us with all requested documentation (contractor license, insurance, and contract) and started on the day he stated. Project went slightly longer because we needed additional footings and extension beyond the original scope of work. At the end of each day, the site was clean and nothing was left out of place. "They were highly rated so i went with them. They provided a project manager that didn't oversee the job and failed inspection because of common mistakes. They blames the window on me for having incorrect size. we eventually got he correct windows they didn't finish the deck properly the cut corners and made excused that it wasn't in contract and i had to pay extra for their inconsistencies. the electrician put thermostat on floor so i couldn't see it.They Blamed everything on me. now the final bill came in and they marked up the bill for a 30 percent markup. I called another contractor to evaluate the work and boy did he find all the hidden things i knew were already wrong. Im not a contractor by the way but i have eyes. "

He has a small crew and excellent subs so he's not super fast. But Mavridis is excellent. One example: The shower needed a new fan, vented through the attic roof. The attic boards were all cut (before my time) in half when insulation was installed. The attic floor was unstable and unsafe. George was very busy but he had his team replace the boards with plywood panels...for 20% less than I expected. Why? Because he wanted to make sure I would be happy when the job was done. I could give 4-5 other examples but you get the point. If you hire George, you'll be pleased."
