"We contacted several contractors to get ideas and estimates on various jobs we wanted to get done. We needed some brick repaired on our mailbox, needed to replace a window that had started to rot and were interested in remodeling our bathrooms. Dave gave us very detailed estimates on all of the projects which I appreciated. We broke up the work into three separate projects and all of them went well. There were occasional issues but Dave was always responsive and did his best to resolve anything that came up. "GTL Remodeling was disappointing because Keith Hallam, their representative, seemed to be very knowledgeable and wasb the first to come to the house inn order to provide a quoten but after promising a quote by Oct. 11 orb at the latest Oct. 14,, I have still not received a quote or heard from them at all. Keith also promised that his company could complete the job before Christmas. I think that he discovered they could not keep his promise and chose not to submit a quote. This is very poor customer service and If I cant depend on them keeping their word, then I cant depend on them at all."

The window replacements were done 3-4 years ago.  The windows are good quality.  The measurement of one window was not done properly and the installer did a fix by adding spray foam.  The deck was done 2 years ago.  The deck installers were fired as they made so many mistakes.  The deck install was suppose to be done in a week, it took 3 weeks.

I had a service tech com out to check a deck problem in May.  He is no longer working there and was laid off with almost all of the staff in Gaithersburg.  I called over a week ago for a service follow-up call.  The receptionist in Baltimore answered the phone, as there is no one in Gaithersburg and the phones are forwarded.  I am still waiting more than a week for a follow-up service phone call to be returned by the person who schedules service calls.   I have no idea how long it will take before someone can come to my home.  I am concerned that if I had a major problem, I would be waiting months to get a window repaired.
