"The work was done very well. The original estimate was developed based on the assurance that drain tile was in place inside the foundation (provided by me). After determining there was no drain tile inside the foundation, we were offered options for proceeding, chose one, and they were back the next day to finish the job. They were fast, efficient, and neat, and the price for the work was fair. If we needed basement waterproofing service again in the future, we'd definitely go to Safe Basements."

"He examined the area and told us that he didn't think it would be necessary to do extensive work on the foundation; the wet area was small and next to the drain and didn't seem to be spreading.  He recommended extending the gutter downspouts so they would drain farther from the house, and adding more soil and grading it to slope away from the house.  We followed his suggestions and also planted some hostas which have an extensive root system and absorb a lot of water.  Since doing those things the wet spot has dried up and we've had no further problems. <br /> We were impressed that he didn't encourage us to do any expensive repair work (which would've meant more business for him) - but which would have been unnecessary. <br />"

"In the spring of 2015 we received hail damage from a storm. We filed an insurance claim and began looking for a reputable contractor. Our neighbor recommended and guy that was recommended to them by a friend, as being one of the best in the business and knowing his trade. That guy was MIKE WALK with Over Under Construction. "The project was delayed due to the winter.  However, when the weather was nice enough, the project was completed promptly.  The steps work great, nothing loose.  We only had two issues.  One was cosmetic; the large stone was put back in place upside down (non-weathered side up), which made it stand out compared to the other stones on the stoop.  However, as the stone has weathered it is matching up just fine.  The second is a wait and see; after the first winter with the repair, some of the mortar is flaking/crumbling a bit.  Nothing too serious, but is noticeable.  If it gets worse, we may need Arabella to come take a look.  I wouldn't hesitate to have them do additional work. <br />"

"Work was very high-quality and done quickly and as cleanly as concrete removal/replacement can be. We have had water issues in our basement over the years and decided to finally do a long-term solution. We went with Standard Water Control largely because we had gotten a quote from them a few years earlier and were impressed with the sales guy's professionalism. Standard Water Control ripped up the old cement along the edges of the house and installed drain tile, then came back the next day and sealed it back up. I was surprised at how quickly they were able to do the work. The people we interacted with were all very helpful and professional. The new sump pump is electronically monitored so we can see its status at a glance. It went so well that we decided to have the radon mitigation pump installed by them as well, which they came back to do a few weeks later. The price includes all of this."
