"Hired this person because of his Angie rating and reviews. Was very specific about NOT SUBCONTRACTING THE JOB. I was told specifically he would do the job himself . Jason was dishonest and subcontracted the job to two illegals non English speaking individual's from Colombia. They did sub rate job didn't caulk the cracks or corners and had to be called back to repair many paint issues and apply the hardware back on. They sprayed the cabinet's in my garage and got paint on the floor everywhere!! My brand new kitchen floor of 3 weeks old has a lot paint sprayed on it they did not protect the floor as they should of. My new stove has paint of the top dripped and dried on it....The entire job list also included some tile work and applying thresholds which was part of the original contract still isn't finished and Jason has had 11 scheduled appts to complete the job 5 of these were NO call no shows. All documented on my texts and emails. I cant recommend this person . Don hire him."

"I can't say enough good things about Justin and Affinity Construction! Our project went from a wood frame RV carport 20x45 to an enclosed garage. Justin came out several times as we worked through the build plan. Affinity was covering all the bases from foundation to paint color. Justin is great to work with and goes the extra mile to ensure the customer gets what they want. Unfortunately, the city had easement issues on the build site and wouldn't allow a structure to be built. We had no other suitable location for the garage, so the project was scrapped. This is when I decided Affinity Construction would always have my business. Justin returned my deposit, and went further introducing me to other professionals he trusts to bid on the smaller side projects we were going to do while the garage was being built. The true measure of a quality company is how they react when things turn sideways and how they treat their customers when money is no longer changing hands. 10 stars!!"

"I hired LeByrds to partially finish my basement (rough in, electrical, mechanical, drywall, and stairs). I am doing paint and flooring. Rob and Matt did a good job coordinating all their subcontractors and were very responsive to any questions or concerns I had throughout the project. The subcontractors?s quality was just okay. I would recommend for rough in and drywall. Probably not for millwork. The good, Rob and Matt were very responsive and kept me informed on the schedule. Overall good value and worked with me to coordinate what I wanted to do and what I wanted them to do."

"Had a new home built by these guys 3.5 years ago. We have been fixing things ever since, including but far from limited to six leaks, replacement of one ac/ furnace, They take no responsibility and won?t speak with me. We also discovered that many our appliances including stove and fridge were purchased at a scratch and dent store. They never mentioned this to us. We discovered it when dealing with issues with both fridge and stove. Currently having stucco repair work done. Just saying? they built the house next-door at the same time and the results have been pretty much the same. All I can say, if for some reason you choose Hickock Homes, negotiate your contract very carefully, also be sure you understand the limitations on the so called home warranty. during the build tRay to stay on top of things as much as possible. "I thought about an addition for several years; then interviewed and received bids from about 6 companies. I wanted a workroom with: * built-in storage cabinets and desk * space for the washer, dryer, freezer, and sauna. * ample space for my projects JB Construction’s bid was reasonable and fair. Joe is professional, honest, responsive, and easy to work with. He finds and hires quality subcontractors, and I am impressed with the work that was completed on my addition. He is hands-on, was involved in the process, and checked in often as the work progressed. He actually did quite a bit of the work himself. I really appreciated how Joe suggested improvements that I never would have thought of. These included enlarging the space from 280 to 320 sq ft, adding a sun tunnel when the skylight wouldn’t work with the roof line, a built-in cabinet where a window was removed, an exterior electrical outlet, and an overhead light in the corner cupboard. Joe was able to salvage and reuse the old brick on the front of the addition. This, along with the two original windows integrated the addition seamlessly with the rest of the house. It was done so perfectly; neighbors have asked where the addition was built. I’m extremely picky and am thrilled with my new addition. It’s lovely, functional, and my preferred room in my house. Joe has a lot of repeat customer jobs and I can see why. This was a great experience and I’m glad I went with him. I plan to use JB Construction for future projects and recommend him to everyone I know."
