"When making the appointment a couple days in advance, I was told the exact opener model I wanted was in stock and would be on the technician?s truck, so I took off work to get it installed. A1 Garage Door Service would not provide any pricing when scheduling the appointment. When the technician arrived, he didn?t have the model I requested. Even more concerning, while he was still on my property, I received an email showing a ?29-point safety inspection? marked as completed ? even though no work or inspection was done. I spoke with a manager who apologized and offered a $100 discount; however, they still have not provided itemized pricing. Based on the quote I received afterward, A1 Garage Door Service appears to charge very high amounts in labor and other hidden fees for a job the technician said would take about an hour. The technician was polite, but A1 Garage Door Service did not have the product they promised, refused to provide itemized pricing, and sent a false inspection"

"Company is a scam. My wife called, they didn't look at the key pad. Looked at motor instead using only a flashlight. Claimed the board was fried and that the whole thing needed to be replaced, even though it still worked. (lights came on, garage door opened, ect) quoted $1015.00 replacement, and had to act within 7 days or it would be more. Charged $110.00 for this "service". I called to complain twice, eventually was told I would only be charged $50.00 because they charged me for the wrong thing. The issue? a dead battery and a reset, that I did myself. I was told I would get a refund, shall see if that is true. This company saw my wife as a mark and tried to take advantage of her. Do not use this company."
