"The sofa was in really bad shape; re-upholstering it was worth the cost only because it is sturdier than newer sofa beds and it opens up to make two twin beds, a feature you just can't find. Although the work was scheduled sooner than I expected, actual work took 3 weeks, a week longer than I expected. The sofa looks much better than it did, but the new cushions are between 1 inch and 1 3/4 inches too deep, front to back, so they stick out a bit beyond the frame. Mr. Washington was willing to re-do them at no cost, but we decided against it. After measuring, we came to the conclusion that the problem was caused by an un-even sofa back. Re-doing the cushions so they would be flush with the frame across the full length of the sofa would have produced two cushions of unequal size and shape. That would probably have looked worse; it definitely would have made it impossible to flip them over if / when one side gets worn."

"After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."

"I will say that the work was exquisite. The damaged piece was a 70+ year old mahogany chest of drawers that had been my grandparents. You would never be able to tell that a repair was made - it is seamless.  All of the pieces came out beautifully. When they picked up the pieces on April 14, I was told it would take 4-6 weeks. It was actually 3 1/2 months before the furniture was completed. The only time I spoke to them was when I initiated the call. So, you will get excellent work, but be aware that they are slow. I would suggest you call every week at a minimum to keep on their radar.

Michelle explained the services she could and could not offer in terms of my needed furniture repair. And while she cannot help me specifically with my furniture issue, she offered a very generous solution: she is going to send me leather dye for the scratched ottoman and talk me through the repair, should I need help! Michelle also explained that she deals with customers all over the country, in need of leather and purse and clothing repair, cleaning, and restoration. Based on my extremely positive experience with Michelle, I will be sure to call her in the future when I need help with fur, leather or suede goods!!!"

In February I tried again on Home Advisor and PAH showed up again. Two things had changed: their attitude and they hired Brittany. Brittany was immediately responsive. She provided a quote that was fair and she provided 3 references for the company. They have a pick up and delivery service for an extra fee and that was important to me. The loveseat was picked up promptly and a return in 2 to 3 weeks was promised. The loveseat was delivered in less than 2 weeks. The whole experience could not have been easier and most importantly my reupholstered loveseat is stunning. I had a geometric print with 5 distinct colors and the pattern is meticulously matched across all surfaces. I love my "new" loveseat."
