"Both of these assignments were handled beautifully and I was completely satisfied with the end result.  I'm kind of a perfectionist, especially regarding my inventory.  Mark fixed the veneer problem on the vitrine and made the dining table look new again.  He charged me $500.00 for the vitrine and $2,500.00 for the top on the dining table.  It was money well spent.
Now, Mark does incredible work, but like any true craftsman, (which he surely is) it's not going to be particularly cheap or fast to get the work done.  So, if you're looking for cheap and fast, don't waste his time.  If, on the other hand, you have a valuable piece (and that can be a dollar or sentimental value) and you want it done correctly, then Mark is your guy.  He's a true renaissance man in a time when they're hard to find.  To have a resource like him in my back yard makes my business and life much easier.  A happy relationship with any craftsperson depends on communication and expectation.  If everyone is on the same page you have a happy ending to the story.

"It was very worthwhile to use this service because the decorator answered some critical questions and kept me from making costly mistakes.  It is a good place to start and the price was right for what she did.  She spent 30 minutes on the phone talking to me but before that she spent a significant amount of time looking over photos and measurements that I submitted to her by email. "I desperately needed some extra storage space, so I commissioned Blue Ribbon Woodcraft to build some custom cabinetry/closet space for my craftsman bungalow.  I wanted the cabinets to look original to the 1912 structure.  After taking measurements and listening to the description of what I wanted, Werner emailed me a scaled sketch of the proposed design.  He was very helpful in offering suggestions for the design and configuration of the cabinets.  After that he did the initial cutting and construction in his studio, then installed the cabinet interior on site, followed by a couple more visits to install the doors and complete the fine finish carpentry and touch ups.  The house is old and has no straight lines, so I am sure there were a number of challenges with installation.  As for the end product - I could not be happier, the cabinets are absolutely gorgeous and have provided me with greatly increased storage room (form & function!).  I am amazed at how well they match existing original wood trim and built-ins.  Highly recommended !!
