"I was given a repairman arrival window of 9-10am, and the repairman arrived at 9:15am. I always appreciate not getting a super long window of possible arrival time (e.g., 1-5pm)--and I appreciate it when people show up on time. The repairman, Jeff, was very polite and showed me the needed repairs on the window, helped me understand what the underlying issues were, etc. Each window took about 20 minutes of work. The repairs were pricey, but I had not shopped around to get other estimates, as it seemed fair, but I'm not an expert in what window repair should cost. My neighbor a few doors down used them for this same repair service on the same day. I will definitely use them again if I have other window issues. <br />"

"I don't drive very often, so the battery was dead when I tried to start my Prius this morning. I called Ameristar to cancel my appointment. My husband was able to jump it, so I called Ameristar a second time before heading over. John Losen Jr. (owner/president) had no problem with me waiting there until they finished; however, my husband followed me in his truck (just in case the battery died). Ameristar installed specialty film on the front window and smoke tint on the rest. The hardest part for me will be remembering not to open the windows for four days. "Bruce came out twice, once for the estimate and the other for the install. He did a great job, was fair, honest and did more than expected.  His coworker and he replaced two window sashes and glass, caulked bases of 30+ windows, and even installed door weatherstrip because I wasn't sure when my husband could get to it.  They removed all my window screens and made sure all my old windows were locked for proper winter sealing.   He answered a lot of questions and provided great advice about future new windows with no pressure.  I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.  "
