"Steve was great. He explained what he?d be doing while seeing what was wrong with my drain. He told me how he was going to fix the drain and once he took it apart let me see what cause my leak which was a gasket that broke inside the pipe. Once he fixed it he was on his way. Steve also does more work around my mother?s house as well. He explains and is honest. He is very knowledgeable able and explains what he?d going to do and shows you why something failed or why an item needs replaceing. I highly recommend him for odd jobs that need to be fix around the house. "

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Irondequoit, NY

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
