Then I spoke With Eddie. He changed my mind after providing much needed GE operating information. Within 3 days my oven was repaired. "Two professional installers. Done in one day.  If only one person had been there for the install it would have been a 2.5 day job. With two people the job was completed in one day. I bought their recommended Amana furnace/AC. They were personable and interacted well when I had questions. If one person had been there it would have been a 2.5 day job. The unit worked the first time they turned it on and is a significant improvement. At the end of the job they thoroughly cleaned the area. And no up front money which indicated a well run business.
I had been told about other people who installed furnaces but I am confident that they were horror stories waiting to happen. This job required experienced workers. I may have paid more, but I may have ended up with a low quality (cheaper) unit as well as delays while the installer dealt with personal issues or disappeared.
This is the third time I have used Giant and each instance was totally satisfactory.

"came over during time window that he gave us.  Checked refrigerator, which is old and had been making increasing amounts of noise when it runs.  He said nothing needed repair; something was vibrating and creating the noise so he adjusted it.  It is much quieter now.  Since it is 30+ years olds we had expected it would be a big repair or even not fixable.  He charged only an extremely small charge for coming over and checking it.  Much, much less than I expected.
