"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"They did a wonderful job on my kitchen ceiling.  They did a great job of replacing a rotted piece of wallboard behind my cupboards.  Everything that they have done has been topnotch.  Their people are polite and courteous.  Alan Jackson, the guy who owns the company, also comes by and checks to make sure that everything is satisfactory.  I didn’t realize this, but Alan Jackson and I go to the same church.  When I looked him up on Angie’s List and saw that, it reminded me that I had seen a truck in the church’s parking lot that had Handy Jack on it.  When I called him, I asked him.  Since it is a fairly large church not everybody knows everybody.  The actual price has always been just slightly less than his estimate.  I am waiting to get enough money together to have him come and paint a bathroom for me."
