"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"We called to request Lone Star Solar Screens to come out and give us an estimate for screens for our whole home.  They were able to come out the next day to give us an estimate.  We called another provider we found on Angie's list but due to the many storms in our area the provider told us he "might" be able to come give an estimate the following week.  

Robert with Lone Star provided us an estimate broken down with prices for screens with the decorative grids and also without the grids.  He also offered to break the bid down showing the cost for only the front of the house and then back of the house in case we wanted to have the job done in phases.  

The bid was very competitive and the screens also come with a life time warranty.

Once we placed our order for the screens, we were told it would take 7 to 10 days for screens to be made then we would be called to set up installation date.  To our surprise we had our screens installed in less than a week for ordering them.  They look great, are easy to see through and make a big difference in the temperature of our den which faces west and one whole wall is windows.

"I absolutely loved working with this family run company. Charles and Larry came and did the initial quote personally, and gave us plenty of reassurance about their previous work. They as well as their crew were really friendly, and gave a fair price for what we needed done. On the first day of the job, they were on time and professional. All of the floors and furniture were covered, and everything handled with care. Day two was no different. They did a great job, and cleaned up well afterwards. Even when we had a miscommunication about one of the colors, they graciously came to repaint the wall with no questions asked. "Sales rep was friendly, trustworthy and professional. He explained everything in great detail and kept us in the loop as to what to expect. No question felt like a stupid question. From time of contact to job done was 10 days, (delayed due to covid.) Crew cleaned up around the house after they were done and left us with only a new roof and a little sign in our yard. We already had the paint for the two rooms, but they had to match the paint for the baseboards and got it perfect. It took the team two days to get everything done. I couldn't be more pleased with the finished result! :)"

"Two of them came out. There was a long list and we were happy to pay more, but I was not pleased when I got home. I wanted the caulking in the shower redone and they did not get to that. There is a gate in a storage thing out in the side yard and the door needed patching. I just did not like coming home. I felt like they rushed and just did not get it all done or even attempted to get it done. The price was not the issue. I just wanted those things done. With two of them here, I felt like they could have done more."
