"Excellent. The person who installed my fireplace was not familiar at all with the system. He said I had a gas leak either from the valve or the pilot line but didn't know which and wanted me to order costly replacement parts. Mike Duffy from Leinbach was able to determine that the seal in the conversion kit was not installed properly and easily fixed it. The fireplace works perfectly now. He also took time to answer my questions and to show me how to operate the unit. In addition, he was respectful of my home and wore covers over his boots...its the small things like that that make a big difference."

"On Monday 28 September 2015, the Honey Do Service representative with whom I had previously made an appointment (Patrick Lilley) arrived at 11 a. m. (on time) to estimate the cost of repairs. He was present for one hour. On Thursday 08 October 2015 at 08:30 a. m. Charlie from Honey Do arrived and completed the estimated repairs for the agreed price. He finished by approximately 10:45 a. m. No problems occurred. All work was accomplished professionally."

"Curt and his helper showed up on time.   They took down the first of the 2 fans to be replaced.  Then, while assembling the first new fan and 4 foot down rod (both purchased at Home Depot) Curt pointed out that the down rod did not correctly fit the motor assembly and would have to be cut, and a new hole drilled in the down rod.   I decided rather than doing that, I would return the down rod to Home Depot and get one that would work, and he agreed, saying he would come back when I have the new rod.  <br /> I went to Home Depot.  The staff at Home Depot did their best to convince me that Curt didn't know what he was talking about, and the 4 foot rod (a Hunter rod, the only 4 foot rod the Home Depot sells) would fit the Hampton Glendale fan they sold me.  So I went back home, but something did not feel right.  Either Home Depot was right or Curt was right and I needed more proof.  So the next day I sent my wife (I had to work) to take both the fan and the down rod to Home Depot and make them show her it fit.  She did that.  Home Depot tried to make it fit, and it did not, and finally one of their staffers said "you'll have to cut it."  <br /> Long story short, Curt and his helper came back, cut the down rods, drilled the holes, installed the fans.  They work fine, look great. <br /> Curt charged me $175.00 for installing the 2 fans, and that included both visits.  For comparison, Home Depot charges $150 to install one fan.  So I got a bargain.  Both of us got the runaround from Home Depot though.   I learned that the short down rods that come with fans almost always fit, but be careful when buying longer down rods!   While at the store make them show you the longer rods fit! <br />"

"Chad took over for another contractor that didn't know what he was doing. He inherited quite a mess. Chad investigated all of the prior work thoroughly, and was honest in his assessment that everything the prior contractor did would not last, and needed to be redone. I was unhappy, to say the least, but had my suspicions before Chad even looked at it. Chad did a thorough inspection and measurements for his quote, and made sure he asked all the questions he needed for an accurate quote, and addressed all of my concerns. After hiring Chad, he and his crew got to work at the time that I was given. He and his crew were very professional and very curteous, and I never had any issues with them during their time here. The crew cleaned up after themselves every day and always asked if it was ok to leave any tools or equipment at the house. Chad is not one of those guys who "does it all", and if you ask him, he will tell you. Each profession (Tile, drywall, paint, plumbing, electrical) has it's own specialized tooling and methodology, and he understands that in order to achieve the best results, one must use those professionals who work their trade every day. Chad made sure everything was lines up at each stage of the project, and dealt with all of the trades that he subcontracted. Each of these trades were fully licensed and bonded and were people who Chad could count on to do an excellent job. At every stage of the project, if there were ANY questions that needed to be answered about how I wanted something to look, or options that I had, Chad NEVER hesitated to ask me how I wanted it to be. I did not have to worry about Chad just doing "what he thought I wanted" like you may find with other contractors. Any concern that I had, Chad addressed, and resolved. I changed my mind on quite a few things, and Chad rolled with the punches. The most important thing after quality, Chad kept himself within budget! Even with some of the changes I made, he was able to keep me close enough to my original quote that I was impressed. I had expected a larger final bill than what I received, and I was quite relieved. I will be doing more projects at my home, and will ONLY be using Chad Henry Construction and his sub-contractors for the job. Chad takes pride in his work, and stands behind it. I had hired my own electrician, who actually introduced me to Chad, but in the future I will not be using them, as I had trouble with them! I will be using Chad to spearhead ALL work in the future. You will not be unhappy with hiring Chad Henry Construction. I wouldn't pay attention to any other negative review, because Chad is a straight shooter. If he cannot do something, he will tell you. If he has policies in place, he will tell you. Old school pride and work ethic."

"It could not have gone better. They pulled the walls back in and secured them making me feel very safe! They removed the wall and created the space I was looking for. In my opinion...if you need help with your home or want to build a new one...you seriously need to call Reliable Builders!! Billy worked very hard to put together a plan I could really wrap my arms around. When we agreed what would work for my situation (and believe me when I say there were MANY challenges with this house), they came out and within two days they completed the work. They were very professional, polite and talented. Hats off to Reliable Builders!! Thank you gentlemen!! You rock!"

"The work was impeccable.  He took pains to be sure the ceramic tile in our kitchen and porch were properly aligned and visually pleasing, in the cut of the tile and how he edged the front porch.  He also did an excellent job installing the countertop, faucet and sink.  He cleaned as he went (VERY important to us since these projects took several days to complete), and they were thoroughly professional in attitude and the quality of their work.  We also appreciated the detailed written quote he provided prior to being hired for the job.  Another biggie:  He showed up when and where he said he would......practically unheard of in the contractor world!  He and his wife were a delight to work with, and we frequently recommend them to family and friends."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Johnson City, TN

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
