"The work was done as agreed, promptly and satisfactorily. The owner had his staff are all very friendly, honest people, and they came highly recommended by a friend. Final clean-up of the yard was delayed for nearly two months, mostly because of snow and other rough weather. A call to the owner resulted in immediate removal of PVC pipe that had been left, and they seeded and put down straw over the bare area left where they had dug a trench in the yard for the pipe. We were very happy with the work and would certainly call them again.
"

"Response was fast. Work crew was very careful and professional. Utility room floor was nicely patched with smoothed concrete; I only had to replace about 6 tiles for a like-new appearance. later Job took about 6 or 7 hrs, start to finish. No leaks, and water pressure about 5 psi higher than before the break, probably due to smooth new pipe interior. EXCELLENT alternative to digging up concrete slab and interior flooring across half the house, and much cheaper to boot. Also, if PEX pipe should ever fail (unlikely), it can be pulled from the protective plastic conduit and replaced by a new one, with no excavation. Definitely would use this approach again."

"I called Winkle’s Plumbing after 6 on a Friday evening. Shane was able to come out on Saturday morning at 10:30. The snake would not go through the bend in the galvanized pipe, so Shane had to make a trip to the hardware store for PVC pipe to replace it. It has been 2 weeks since the repair and the bathtub drain works better than it ever has in this old house. I am very pleased with the promptness, professionalism, and price of Winkle’s Plumbing."

"I needed a blockage cleared from the sewer line between my house and the manhole. The blockage spot was 3/4 of way from house. The total length of sewer pipe is approx. 30-32 feet. I needed the pipe blockage cleared, but the most important part was to find out why it blocked and the cost/details required to fix it. It had blocked in that same spot 2 months prior and that blockage was flushed out (no charge) using my water hose. It could have been done again free (instead of hiring them), but I needed to find out what was causing it. I gave them all this information.
I called on Friday and was quoted $150 to and quot;camera itand quot; and $200 to and quot;clean it out and camera itand quot;. I was not given a cost for cleaning only, and did not ask because that is not what I needed. Tim was to come around 2 pm. Michael called and said he was closer and Tim was busy so he came. He was very nice and after I showed him the layout and where the blockage was I told him that it had to have a problem and I was anxious to find out what it was and what it would take to correct it. We guessed that it might be roots. He cleared it quickly/easily and there was no sign of roots. He said there might be a dip or break in the pipe causing it to block. I asked him about the camera and he said he didn't have one , but that Tim did and he would come later and see what the problem was. He said it was $150. He didn't seem to think it would cost more when Tim came (a mis-communication?) He said I could pay him or wait and pay Tim. My mistake - I should have waited and paid Tim. At end of day I called the office because Tim never came or called. I told Wes, Tim never came and used camera and asked about the price again. He sounded very irritated and told me he gave me the prices that morning. I told him I was a senior citizen and wasn't offered the discount when I paid - that I felt so bad (obvious by my voice I was sick) that I didn't think to ask for it. He didn't seem to think I would get it, but said he would check with the owner (they show a 10% senior discount on their Angie's listing). He said he would have Tim call me Monday. I asked if Tim would know about the discount then and he hesitated, then said yes. I did not hear from Tim Monday, so I called at end of the day and had to leave a voice mail message for Wes to call me. I have never been called. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to wait until it blocks again and pay another $150 and then the $50 (w/no discount) to find out what's wrong and then pay to fix it. After leaving more messages at decent intervals - he was never available and never returned my calls - I left a voice mail that I still needed the camera done and if I didn't hear back soon I would go ahead and put my review on Angie's list - so here it is.
****************************************************************************************
After posting this review the company came out and fixed all necessary problems at no additional fees and they didnt charge me the additional fee that we had agreed to. I agreed to amend my review because they did come back to fix all issues. They also stated the reason for lack of contact was the office personal was out of town. Tim came out and did the camera work. He was very nice, helpful and professional. he helped me transfer the camera video to my computer at no additional cost."

"I highly recommend Knoxville Plumbing. They have been nothing but professional, punctual, honest and courteous on the several occasions I've had the pleasure of working with them. They utilize up front pricing on jobs, and I prefer that. They call/text ahead so you know exactly when to expect them. The work was solid and the kept the mess to a minimum. Excellent experience! And we love our new water softener!!"

"The work was performed in a professional manner. The cost of 450.00 was quoted upfront. We were in a situation that required prompt service. I opened the drain access, and Mr. Rooter cleared the drain. About 10 minutes work. We needed the work done but seems a little costly to me.
"

"The entire process took two months due to weather, contractor, and customer reasons but was performed exceptionally well with excellent communication throughout the process. Jay initially met with me and determined my home needed the largest air-cooled generator available (a Generac though I was initially certain I wanted a Kohler) with four wireless Load Control Modules. He was so knowledgable compared to the first two representatives from other companies that he convinced me to get a Generac. His crew started by pouring a concrete pad. When it had cured, they completed a difficult installation of the 500 lb plus generator on a steep slope, hooking in to my propane line and installing the 100 amp automatic transfer switch. The ATS was initially wired incorrectly and did not include many of the areas of my house that needed to be covered but this was easily rectified on another day. I elected to get Mobile Link to get texts and emails that update me to the generator's status. We have had no power outages yet but the generator exercises smoothly once a week and when I simulated a power outage by turning off the main circuit the generator came on flawlessly.
I highly recommend Lloyd's Electric and Jay lloyd. The whole project was expensive but was in line with the other two estimates I received but there was no question who I trusted to complete the task.

"
