"Everything was great until the install.  at the time, my father was dying of cancer.  We had set up the install on a certain day, and had planned on getting the furniture out of the rooms, but they called a day or so early and said they could come that morning, something had cancelled. I was like, great!  So a small crew came over (2 guys), and the supervisor did not.  They had the carpet with them, and had started getting it ready. Supervisor  finally came after I called Wood's.  He told the other guys to help us empty the rooms, and he would be back.  Then we found out that he was going back and forth to another job.  I called Woods again and was very upset, because they had said this would take about 3 hours and I needed to go see my dad.  The owner told me to go ahead and leave, she would take care of it. It eventually got done, but was a stressful day for me.  I have not had that problem anywhere else. <br />"

"In order to prepare our entire upstairs and upstairs closets for carpet installation, my husband and I worked for 4 days packing books, lamps, items from shelves, desktops, floor, etc.  We were told that the installers would move all of the furniture and would break down beds. <br /> On the day of the installation, I was called by the installation manager who had been called by our installers and was told that the beds had to be broken down.  He said that the sales rep (who was very nice and professional) had misinformed me and that I must break the beds down myself.  I am a small woman over 60 years old (my husband was at work).  There were 3 young men present to install the carpet.  I had to break down a queen-size bed and a full-size bed by myself.  Thankfully, the young men agreed to break down our grandchildren's bunk beds.  <br /> I was pleased with the final result.  The carpet looks very nice, and the installers did a good job.  In the end, they were helpful. <br /> But...I will not use this company again.  The customer service from the installation manager was poor and unprofessional.  <br />"

"The work overall went very well. We discovered the faucet was broken on a Saturday. Since Roto-Rooter advertises 24 hour service, I called and spoke to an after hours person. He made me an appointment for Monday afternoon. However, when the Roto-Rooter service person came on Monday, he had the wrong type of faucet. We rescheduled for Tuesday afternoon. He called to let me know he was on his way before arriving at my house and showed up at the agreed time. He dug up the old faucet, cleaned up the debris and installed the new faucet. The work was neat and professional. We would use Roto-Rooter again."
