"The individual that did the consult was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work took 8 days. I would highly recommend just buying new cabinets. The mess after the sanding and install was more than I expected. Some of the cabinets were left with debris and a considerable amount of dust in them, the shelves were not sanded on the ends where they were cut, leaving splinters and the sawdust was in the stove, dishwasher, cabinets that were covered and in the adjoining room. The craftsmanship turned out nice but noticeable that the edges were resurfaced. Itâ s hard to resurface cabinets that are old. The new doors cover the refacing. I feel the pricing is way to high for this type of project."

"I love my new kitchen! It's been a year and my kitchen still looks brand new. Kitchen Tune Up had great options for refacing the cabinets. I choose 2 different materials for my kitchen. I had the furr down and some of the walls done in a different color and texture material. The furr down is the area between the top of the cabinets and the ceiling. The whole job was really well done and exceeded my expectations. Excellent workmanship and outcome. I could have cooked during the refacing process if needed. I feel the price was reasonable. I was kept informed of when the worker would be there and he arrived on time when expected. The work was completed in a timely fashion. My old drawers were totally replaced with new ones. I love the pull out shelf options for my pantries and the soft close doors on the doors and drawers. The refacing material is easy to clean and maintain with water & a microfiber cloth. In my pictures note the faced shelving area and new door underneath in my dinning area. Two doors where changed to 2 large drawers - no more crawling into a bottom cabinet to get things out. If interested, Kitchen Tune Up had options for countertops, and undercabinet lighting. I highly recommend Kitchen Tune Up!"

"We met with Dave Pellegrini to discuss our kitchen remodeling options. He described the different cabinet services Kitchen Tune-Up provides, from a basic restorative "tune-up" to refacing to installation of new cabinets. We settled on the refacing option with us removing all the doors and drawer faces and painting the cabinets to match the new doors. By doing the painting ourselves, we were able to cut the cost significantly and spend a bit more on some other work we planned for the kitchen. Mr. Pellegrini worked with us and two other contractors (for wallpaper removal and counter top/back-splash installation) to coordinate all of the work we had planned so that it could be completed within three weeks. It was obvious from the beginning that this was a family business that took pride in providing outstanding service. Before finalizing the contract, Dave's wife came to the house and did extensive measuring while Dave showed us an awesome array of knobs and handles for the new doors and drawer faces. Mrs. Pellegrini also had a great suggestion for adding faux doors to the back and end of the demi-island cabinets. Two weeks before the cabinets were scheduled to arrive, Dave dropped of all the supplies we needed to paint the old cabinets to match the new materials. Since it had been very many years since we had painted (foam brushes--who knew?), we got a quick primer on the job ahead from Dave. We then waited until the counter tops and back-splash work was finished, then we double-primed followed by two-three coats of white paint (to get dark oak to look snow white) over three days, just in time for the installation. The installation itself was fabulous. Son Mike was head of a crew of two other installers (I'm not sure whether or how the other young men were related to the family, but they were a great team) who worked steadily over the course of much of the day to complete the work. When the work was done, Mike pointed out that one of the doors had a slight imperfection, so he was ordering a new one, and one of the "faux" doors was the wrong size, so he was ordering a replacement for that as well. He explained the reordering process in detail, so that I would be clear about all the steps (ordering, manufacturing, shipping, etc.) and why it would take about three weeks before the replacements would be available for installation. I felt like Mike did a great job of looking out for me--the customer--by pointing out the problems, coming up with solutions, and managing my expectations, all in the course of two minutes! Unless there is a remarkable problem with the two replacement doors--which I would report--I can say that we have been very pleased with the quality of the service and products that we purchased from Kitchen Tune-Up, and I would be happy to recommend them."

My family and I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Mark and Judy.  They both were easily accessible by phone or email, professional, and patient regarding the numerous questions I frequently put to them.  Mark was very straightforward with me, and worked hard to overcome the obstacles that popped up.  Bottom line- I was able to obtain a loan at a good fixed rate, and am very satisfied.  I would (and do) recommend them to my friends.

This was no easy job to start with, we had a galley kitchen and wanted to remove some load bearing walls to expand our kitchen and dining room. Brian was very knowledgeable and explained our options to us in regards to making this job possible. He was very helpful in the selection of cabinets that had the options, and colors we wanted. The Framing portion of the job took slightly longer than expected due to some existing structural issues but the entire project only ran a few days longer that expected which Brian did explain when the problem was initially found. I will say that they we excellent in communicating and keeping us informed of daily progress, which I thought was nice since I had never did a project of this size to my home before, its nice to know that they care enough make us feel at ease while this job was happening. There is so many components to a job like this, many of which never even crossed my mind when I considered this project. Brian spent the most time with us at our first meeting understanding our final goal and going over measurements and final outcome. He gave us the estimate two days later which was about middle of the road in comparison to other quotes we received, But I felt he had a clear understanding of everything we wanted and that proved completely true when you look at this beautiful new kitchen I have, the space that was created and the layout is perfect there is so much more space and the openness is unbelievable. Everything came out amazing from the flooring, The cabinets, The Granite, and all the little details, I am completely impressed and everyone that has seen my new kitchen can't believe that it was even possible to do what they did. "First off, know that with this company you are getting subcontractors.  In this case, the subcontractor was great and did quality work.  There were some problems/delays that were caused by the Millennium team who was responsible for ordering/delivery, etc. 
They started demolition pretty much on the day they started ordering things (tubs, etc.) and so of course there were some things that took longer than expected which caused delays in the work.  There were also issues with the wrong items being ordered and delivered which I was thankfully able to flag before installation.  This was sort of an odd thing because it happened multiple times and even the subcontractor was scratching his head a bit about this.  That was just bad project management and execution on Millennium's side.  For these reasons, the overall score dropped to a B.
But, I want to say that I am happy with the end result and the bathrooms look great.  There was a lot of good on this project.  Darin was helpful in picking out items as that was a bit overwhelming for me and I appreciated that.  As I said, the subcontractor did excellent quality work, they were super nice, worked on some Saturdays, put up with our dog, etc.  In the end, the quality and look is the most important thing and that was great.
Millennium (Darin) did acknowledge their mishaps and made sure to credit me for the inconveniences.  I never felt like he was trying to duck me or take advantage, he was very responsive to all my concerns.
So ya know, good company, but probably needs some close attention by the homeowner so that you catch any mishaps and flag any issues.  I suppose this is typical of a construction project. 
Regarding the use of subs, I would imagine you could have varying quality this way.  Our guys were Jerry and Chris and they were great.
