"Efrain and David are fantastic! When our contractor was suddenly unable to continue with the job, David took over with a great positive attitude. He persistently worked with the city to get the building permit, finally ending a tedious 10 month process. Crews were here working every day. Each one of them was considerate, conscientious, and demonstrated a strong work ethic. Efrain and David communicated with us most days and were always accessible to us. My ADU is adorable and just what we wanted and I am sure that many contractors could have pulled it off. The important thing about Olalde is that they truly care and honestly want us to be happy."

"* Our 2nd successful major project with Remodel Works (RW). * This Bathroom remodel was completed timely & with high quality workmanship. * The Design team made some great choices in materials that we are very happy with. * The RW pre-construction review was thorough, resulting in a good work plan & timeline that was strictly adhered to. * Excellent prep of our home. Minimized dust and protected home & furniture. * Very good communications with RW every step along the way. * Sean, Project Mgr made himself available & always responded quickly. He informed us of every delivery & each sub-contractor's visit on a daily basis. * Sean timely addressed every request or concern that we ever brought-up. Two subcontractors were required to do some follow-up. Sean ensured that the re-work was completed correctly & timely. * The one and only item discussed during the final walk-thru was completed within a couple days. * RW hit every timeline with the exception of a final day delivery of a broken glass shower door and mirrow, which was promptly re-ordered, delivered and installed within one week. * We were always assured that RW would be at our home at the time & day communicated to us by Sean. * John, an excellent RW lead worker, adhered to high quality standards & often offered on-site suggestions for better aesthetic & functional use of the bathroom. * RW workers were always courteous & cleaned-up after each work day. * Project was completed financially as expected. The team was hardworking, organized, and very tidy, making sure to clean up and take all the debris with them. Our new floors look absolutely beautiful. "It was honestly the best experience! The attention to detail was what impressed me the most. The bid was very detailed and the Gilberts were with us every step of the way. Chad took every single one of my many calls. Discussed options for change orders and kept us apprised of all that was going on. Wendy came in with such great ideas on how to set up the kitchen to maximize the space to make it look and feel huge. "In August 2024, my husband and I decided to replace all of our interior furnishings. We originally started our project by working with the “designers” in the stores where we were making major purchases. It took us over 8 months to realize what a BIG MISTAKE that was. Long story short, we called Christian in April 2025. Christian came to our home and talked with us to understand the scope of the project. We wanted to redecorate the family, dining, and living rooms. Christian spent time getting to know us, asking us what we do for fun, and how we live our lives. He gleaned from us that we are adventurous travelers, with a love of the outdoors; he noticed my husband is into music and has a love of classic rock musician hard-cover biography books; he noticed that we both are somewhat minimalistic and that we prefer an orderly space. Christian’s tireless energy over the next 4 months produced recommendations for sofas, artwork, accessories, lighting, area rugs, coffee, end, and drink tables – you name it, Christian thought of it! We needed it all. His recommendations fit not only our lifestyle and our aesthetic preferences, but our personalities. Case in point, during our travels over the years, we’ve taken many photos of the places we’ve been. But these photos lived in our phones – where they weren’t being appreciated. Christian had the brilliant idea to showcase the photos on the wall in the dining room using MixTiles; he also suggested making two huge pieces of wall art for both our entryway and our living room. The result is nothing short of amazing. Christian also brought his crews in for electrical work and some painting. They were friendly, professional, speedy, and very clean. Christian was simply a joy to work with and he made our house not only beautiful, but comfortable, functional, and SO US! He was always available for a visit when a piece of furniture arrived, was always honest with his opinion, and always included my husband. Christian turned what was originally a very frustrating project into a wonderful experience and we are thrilled with the end result. "Horrible company to deal with. They came out to help to bring the elevator to the first floor. It was stuck due to a power outage on the block. They came out at 3pm Thursday and overcharged us overtime and travel time. As you can see from their publish hours 3 pm is within their working hours. They didn't tell us the overtime rate nor tell us that we would be charged over time.The service took under 45 minutes. Smartrise billed us for two hours at 454.00 an hour, total 908.00. When I spoke to Art at the company trying to discuss the proper amount for this service, he used profanity and name calling. Art hung up on me rather than communicate."
