"Appointment was established after home sale so work was delayed a few weeks from estimate.  Water damage and mold was located under two front arched windows.  Mold was treated / removed & Box headers were repaired / replaced (4 in one window / 2 in another) along with sub flooring support.  Timbor was then sprayed along new wood before 3-2-1 Primer was applied. 
Area was protected with tarp prior to work starting and guys ensured entire area was completely cleaned before they left.  Larry ensured that owner viewed work and he explained repairs / treatment that was accomplished.

"I live out of state and recently inherited a home in Floyds Knobs.  While waiting for the estate to clear, the home was vacant, and we only discovered 2.5" of water in the basement after it had been there for two weeks.  We called PuroClean, and within 2 hours Matt C. was there to check on the extent of the damage.  An hour later he had brought the equipment to remove the water and fix the sump pump (which had stopped working and caused the flooding after a heavy rain).  By the end of the day (on a Friday!) the water was gone.  
Over the next two weeks, PuroClean removed all of the damaged woodwork, paneling, carpet, drop ceilings, etc. from the basement.  They dehumidified and got rid of the mold from the remaining framing.  Matt C. made several more trips to the house to check that it stayed dry.  
I am *thoroughly* pleased with the result of PuroClean's work.  Matt C. was very good about communicating with me via phone and email since I don't live there.  I highly recommend PuroClean."

"Upon uncovering a leak during a rain, I emailed Maximus Contracting through Angie's List. They were my 3rd email sent but the previous 2 had other things going on and couldn't accommodate the 1-2 day appointment I needed to prevent further leak damage. Eric (Owner) was very responsive and responded to my email quickly. Upon return call, he said he could have someone there that day. Leo arrived and immediately assessed the situation and explained the required repairs to me. Upon his call to Eric and then Eric's call to me to discuss the repair cost, I was very satisfied with the agreed-to price. Eric even had Leo caulk the vent above the garage with no increase in cost. Leo left to get materials and returned in about 20 minutes. The actual repairs took him about 1.5 hours and after cleaning up, he was there for about 3 hours. The weather looked like rain and it did rain that evening and the next day, so I am grateful to Eric for answering my email and acting promptly. I will go back to Maximus General Contracting for any future home repairs.

"He emphasized that you must close the vents to keep the crawlspace from retaining moisture and have a dehumidifier, which I do.  After we had heavy rain in the spring I was out in my yard and noticed that there were three vents that they left open that I could see.  There are other vents in a different crawl space that I am unable to see or reach that I was afraid were also left open after the work was completed because they left the others open and I was getting a musty smell coming from this other crawlspace. I called him to see if he could send someone out to make sure they closed the vents like they were supposed to and check on it.  After calling several times and getting no response I filed a negative report with Angie's List and they did finally come back to check in the crawlspace and confirmed that their was one vent left open. They have claimed that there is not enough water to do any drastic changes. He did let me know where the vents were and advised me that there was some air coming though one and he put some spray insulation in. He did a nice job of examining it and answering some questions."
