He was a smoker and because of his health declining, was unable to keep up on some basic maintenance. After submitting a request for a quote through Angi's List, Dajuan responded promptly and professionally and answered many of my questions, that I'm sure were all over the place. Trying to handle a house project 1000 miles away and trying to find someone to do it was extremely overwhelming and stressful, especially while grieving, but Dajuan's understanding and communication made the process a lot smoother. He was able to meet me at my Father's house last minute while we were in town to go over some job options and gave me some advice to help me make some decisions. After a good month or so of a massive texting conversation, funding hiccups and decision making delays on my part, Dajuan and crew got the job done in the time frame I needed and came back in a timely manner to fix a couple things and complete a couple more jobs I added on at the end. He suggested a couple options for some weird issues in the house and pointed out some issues that need to be taken care of in the future that I can do on my own. Everything was perfect and the finished project came out 100x better than I had imagined and the smoke smell is gone! I am so thankful that the stars aligned to have found Dajuan and crew for this job. It was so nice to find someone who could tackle not only the painting but flooring installation, small kitchen remodel and stubborn ceiling fan installation. A package deal! "The job revealed to be bigger than suspected, however Bruce had warned of all possibilities prior to starting. We felt prepared and educated throughout the process. Work included tear down of a large tiled area, clean-up/remediation of mold infested area and rebuilding of entire area. Result was a better built shower area than had existed. Total work days were about 6."

"Barbara Turns from Designer Kitchen and Baths went above and beyond to help me with repairs to a leaking shower that was well past any normal warranty period. I mean way, way, way past a time frame that any other contractor would honor. When the shower started leaking through the wall a handyman had come in as a favor to me and quite honestly made a mess of things by ripping shower tiles, the shower surround, and a water damaged cabinet out. When he saw how involved repairs would be he suggested I call the original installer. It had been so many years since Designer Kitchen and Bath had completed the project I had not even considered calling them. Barbara came out and was so kind. I am a 100% disabled veteran on a very limited income. She only charged me the cost of whatever materials were needed for repair. The biggest cost being that the handyman damaged the shower surround when he took them out and I needed a new glass surround. Labor was free on both the shower and the repair/re-installation of the adjoining side wood cabinet. This saved me thousands. Barbara also sent her repairmen to help me with other issues in the house at a very reasonable cost. I am so thankful that she came to my aid when my chips were down. Designer Kitchen and Bath gets an A++++++++ rating from me."

The employees doing the work were diligent and paid careful attention to detail. The work took about 4 days. The only reason I gave a B rating for Responsiveness was because it took the company about 3 weeks to start the project. But we are very happy with the results."
