"We contacted Weatherhead and Son's to get some window's replaced. They told us up front that it would be about 3 months due to all the work they had. This would have put the time frame around late September. In the meantime they demanded the down payment right away and it was paid to them. September came and went and they had not contacted me. I placed several calls and they told me I would have to talk to Jake. After several calls Jake never called. October came and went as I tried contacting them again. It was the same story with the same result. Only when I demanded my down payment back that I got a call. He told me that the new time frame would be within the first two weeks of November. Well...Same story, same results. They are not calling me back and I fear that we are going into winter where the job cannot be done. I am to the point of calling the BBB as well as Kent County if I cannot get my down payment back. This is fraud if they insist on keeping my money for services never rendered. I am so through with them."

"THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY I had 3 years left on the warranty for my shingles when the roof started leaking. I went on to the roof to check for any damage to the roof (like a branch falling on it or something).There was no physical damage to the shingles. I called WMR 3 times over a two and a half week period. Each time I was told by the receptionist that "tyler" would be coming out to take a look at it. "tyler" never showed. I got tired of playing the phone game (call them and notify them that your roof is leaking - no call back) and gave up. I will have to fix it myself. THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY"

"I have a small home. We first contracted to put a metal roof on. We signed a contract for 12,000.00. Kodiak csme back and stated they couldn't do it for that as they calculated wrong. Real smooth talkers. We agreed to shingles, at 13,500.00. They roofers came and changed the shingles but NEVER changed the flashing, drip edge, or filled the open spaces on the roof,they just put felt paper over, and shingles. I still have the original leaks, and the roof is only about 6 years old and it is already starting to sag in all the open spaces under the felt and shingles. They wouldn't respond to us after the job was finished. Consequently my bathroom is molding from the ceiling where water is coming in. My biggest regret is I didn't sue them as I didn't know about the flashing and drip edge until later, where the leak was coming from by a different roofing company since Kodiak wouldn't respond."

"So 2 weeks ago I went in and bought the rest of their wood that I needed to start a project. The problem was is that I needed much more so had to have them order it. They said no problem as it's a "stock item" and they will order is ASAP and it will be ready that week to pick up. Well I called and it wasn't ordered or ready. No big deal I guess so I called back to find out when it would be ready and the guy had no clue what I was talking about so I had to have HIM order more. He said he would and that he would call me back. That was last week Wednesday.......I'm still waiting for a call back so I can tell Standale Lumber I went to one of their competitors and gave them the $8,0000.00 sale instead. Long story short.....I will NEVER go back to these clowns NOR will I suggest to ANY of my friends in the building trade to never go here and I have hundreds of people I know in the building trade. I know it's only $8,000 but that now went to someone else thanks to Standale Lumbers p*** poor customer service. P.S....be thankful I didn't mention names! I personally would have fired you both immediately after reading this review! 1"
