I contacted Larry & Sons before the storm, and while I understood their priority to ensure driver safety, they informed me it might take a couple of days to reach my residence. This was reasonable given the circumstances. When the technician finally arrived, he quickly diagnosed a leak in our hot water tank and determined it needed replacement. He also mentioned that our water softener system was improperly installed by a previous technician and recommended replacing it. Additionally, I decided to replace the sump pump as part of the project. However, I was shocked when I was quoted over $13,000 for the job. Given the urgency of the situation—my family needed hot water—I reluctantly agreed to proceed. Unfortunately, I later realized that I was overcharged by approximately $5,000 for the project. To make matters worse, after the installation, the team left a mess on the street that they didn’t clean up.
