"I had obtained a number of estimates from various stone design centers to replace my current countertop with a granite countertop. <br /> I live in Antioch, Illinois so I had an opportunity to talk to quite a few businesses. Factory Plaza was the last place I visited, since it was on the outskirts of the area I was looking into. Anna Phillips, the Project Manager was very courteous and knowledgeable. I was given a list of the many kinds of stone products they carry in their warehouse, along with a price list. Walking through the warehouse, I was given the opportunity to go over all the possibllities I could use in my kitchen, with no sales person trying to make a sale or steer me to a particular piece. When I had picked a slab I was interested in , Anna went over the diagram I had brought with showing that I had come up with 32 sq ft of countertop. Being the honest person she is, I was shown how I had actually had a total of 27 sq ft of counter... saving me over 200.00. This could have easily been charged to me. I appreciate her honesty. I mentioned I would be purchasing a stainless steel sink. Anna mentioned a wide variety they carry. All top quality in material and thickness. I added that to my list also. I will mention that even though I continued to look at various sinks in the week after, I could not beat the price for what was sold to me, for the quality I recieved. I was given a measuremnt appointment and install day. Everything was spelled out in the contract and I was very comfortable knowing that every possible item was gone over before I walked out of that showroom. <br /> On the day of measurement, a gentleman called 15 minutes ahead of the appointment, just making sure I would be available. When he pulled up, the , I was shown his credentials. He made sure of all the measurements, checking everything for level. He actually double checked all of his measurents. I was impressed by the impeccable way he went about his business. In 30 minutes, he was done. <br /> I was called by Anna the next day, reassuring me the measurements were identical to the ones we signed the contract for and that my slab was ready for fabrication. During my picking out the slab, I pointed out a number of color veins I wanted in the countertop. Anna remembered that and went over my instructions again. Attention to detail is another strong point of the people at Factory Plaza.The day  had finally arrive for our countertop to be installed. Two men came here to do the install, Roman and Tom. They were very attentive to detail and to making sure I knew exactly what they were doing during the install. Roman took the time to go over the brand faucet I was installing, and when the install was through, the cleanup was minimal because these professionals were immaculate in their work. They went over the care of my new countertop and that if I had any other bquestions, I should not hesitate to call Factory Plaza. My countertop is outstanding. I recieved everything I paid for and much more. It was such a pleasant experience, I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to give them a call. Better yet. Stop by and see the variety of stone slabs as well as the craftsmanship in their showroom. <br />"

They explained what they were doing and what to expect. </p> <p>3. They  understand that most women fall apart emotionally when their kitchens fall apart.</p> <p>4. Packed and stored our belongings.</p> <p>5. Advised on choosing replacement cabinets, floors, fixtures.</p> <p>6. Received or picked up and stored components (esp. new cabinets).</p> <p>7. When problems with poor existing wiring and plumbing were found, they analyzed, discussed options, and even contacted our insurer to get payment for some of the extra costs.</p> <p>8. Checked and re-checked finish choices to be sure they were doing what I preferred.</p> <p>9. Sweated details so new build would blend seamlessly with old rooms, even to hand-planing the new subfloor so new tile would line up perfectly with the adjacent living room floor. Because so many layers of old floor were removed, our wall-to-wall bookcases and closet doors did not perfectly fit in the rebuild, so they customized moldings and door sizes for us.</p> <p>10. VERY IMPORTANT: CHARACTER! These people are honest and reliable. The State Farm adjuster trusts them completely. The hardware stores all know them and speak highly of them. Their conversations among themselves are clean and uplifting, even when they don't know you are eavesdropping. (Many of them were obviously either part-time clergy or lay church leaders.) I felt comfortable having them in my home without my presence, which meant I didn't have to take weeks off of work.</p> <br />"
