"The crew did a great job installing 125' of vinyl fence and gate.  They navigated around thick shrubs and trees while maintaining a level, straight line. They did it in a timely manner and minimized messing up the yard.  Although vinyl fencing is expensive, pricing seemed very competitive with other bids secured. The crew chief was personable and attentive to our needs.  We really couldn't ask for a better experience.  Certainly would use their services again and highly recommend to others."

"We had called Mike earlier for a small gutter job over our front entrance, and were so satisfied with his work that we decided to get a quote for our house. We got a quote from a few different providers and Mike's was not only the most reasonable but he was there within the week and willing to talk to us and answer any of our questions. It was really excellent service. We were able to set an installment date within the month and the raingutters look great. The turn around time was excellent, the quality is excellent and Mike was a really great and easy guy to work with. I have already recommended him to all of my friends and if I have any more jobs in the future I will have him do it."

"Piazza Plumbing is outstanding! Frankie is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to plumbing, and then some! Always professional and more than willing to check out whatever you need and give a quote or professional advice. He’s worked in this industry for many years and can assist in all your plumbing needs! I have been more than pleased with my two new sump pumps in my basement. Haven’t had a water issue since, plus they’re to code and connect to external drains to the perimeter of my property! He’s even helped me troubleshoot my showers to increase water pressure and helped fix the handle on my toilet. Job large or small, he can literally do it all. Fair pricing for the exceptional quality work. I just can’t say enough about this service, you won’t be disappointed!"

"We had our home for sale. Buyers had inspection done which revealed signs of mold in attic possibly from time of construction as well as swollen/water damaged trim and siding around chimney due to improperly originally installed flashing where chimney housing met roof i.e. rain/snow melt water was getting in behind flashing at roof level and then seeping down behind siding and trim. Inspector recommended mold remediation in attic and replacement of flashing and water damaged wood at chimney as well as a more thorough assessment for mold and subsurface wood damage around chimney. Had 3 estimated done by Complete Restoration (CR), FloodCo. and one other remediation company. Although we felt FloodCo did the most professional/thorough estimate (he noted insulation mold, diagnosed the potential cause and suggested the attic humidistat fan) their estimate was considerably higher than Complete Restoration's even after insulation and humidistat fan were added to CR's estimate. Estimate - person doing initial assessment from CR didn't do as thorough estimate as other companies. He didn't take notes about specific things I wanted them to do e.g. looking under siding around chimney, replacing flashing, etc.. CR was given copy of inspection report. I was reassured that they would be able to complete any carpentry work that was needed. The work - After work was completed, a re-inspection took place. The flashing was re-installed improperly by CR and assessment of mold under siding was not done as I had requested. With the closing date in a few days, the owner of CR was very apologetic and did manage to get the work done within 4 days (with some work done over the weekend). Overall, I think the owners are very interested in making customers happy and were quite responsive to things when they went a little south. Also, the pricing seems reasonable. Where they seem to be challenged is in the process of hiring quality estimators and workers. Some items, such as checking under the chimney siding, were either not passed on to management or were not passed on to the workers. I'd recommend them in the future based on cost, responsiveness to problems and the fact that I became aware that the other co-owner was out at the time with an injury (problems may not have occurred otherwise with more oversight). <br />"

"I recently contacted Valler Services for a septic tank replacement, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. "I'd highly recommend them.  They worked quickly, did a good job.  The bottom line is the amount of money you're needing to spend is quite good for the result you get.  They cut out concrete in our basement so we could put in windows, refinished the basement, put in a hot tub, did a theater room, all the electrical and dry wall.  They hammered out the cement floor because I wanted to address some plumbing.  It was a big undertaking and it took 3 months. <br />"

"I would highly recommend them. Their rates were reasonable and they were just outstanding. They were always very professional, always wore booties to keep the floors clean and were in and out in the four days they said they would be."

FAQs for basement drainage channels installation projects in Kalispell, MT

Expect a well-built French drain to last 30 to 40 years. By channeling both surface- and ground-water away from your foundation, the system relieves hydrostatic pressure and helps prevent costly structural damage. Choose a pipe with a quality cloth filter to keep sediment out and extend the drain’s life. A quick annual inspection and routine cleanouts will keep water flowing freely, ensuring the system continues to protect your home for years to come.

Most French drains sit two feet below grade, but depth ultimately depends on the problem you’re solving. For puddling rainwater or snowmelt, a shallow curtain drain at lawn level often does the trick. To handle rising groundwater, pros dig deeper, down to the footing, and run the pipe beneath the basement slab. A drainage contractor will determine the optimal depth for your specific soil conditions and water issues.

A properly installed interior French drain captures water at the slab, channels it to a sump pit, and directs it safely outside, preventing basement floods before they occur. Because the pipe sits just under the floor edge, a plumber can reach it easily for cleaning or repairs. Pairing the drain with a reliable sump pump gives you the best long-term protection.

Hire a contractor who installs drainage systems every day—typically a foundation specialist, drainage contractor, experienced landscaper, or plumber with waterproofing experience. These pros understand slope, soil, and local codes, and they have the equipment to trench safely around utilities. Ask for references and photos of recent jobs to be sure they can design a system that keeps water off your foundation for decades.

Once the drain is in, patch the yard by reseeding bare spots or replacing plants the crew removed. Inside, look for ways to add value—finishing the basement or upgrading interior waterproofing while the space is open often costs less now than later. Schedule a quick annual checkup to flush sediment and confirm the pipe and sump pump are clear. Consistent maintenance ensures the drain functions properly and protects your investment.

Most policies don’t cover the cost of repairing a French drain itself, but they may provide coverage for water damage if the system fails. Coverage varies by insurer, so be sure to read the fine print or contact your agent before any issues arise. If you live in a high-risk flood zone, consider a separate flood policy to close the gap. Knowing your coverage in advance helps you budget for repairs and avoid unexpected costs.
