Part 2 - Total tear down of hall full bathroom. Tub removal and conversion to walk in shower, old sink and vanity replaced with under mount sink and new faucets as well as installing new quartz top. Linen closet upgraded to new cabinets and pulls. Walls and ceiling repainted and cracks at wall/ceiling edge repaired. A large boxed-in fluorescent light fixture over vanity removed and replaced with modern 5-light fixture. New towel bars installed as well as new tp holder and medicine cabinet door upgrade. All work was performed at a highly efficient and professional level. It is very apparent this contractor’s top priority is work is done to meet and exceed customers’ satisfaction. The experience was made as convenient to our schedules as possible and clear communication as to responsibilities of customer purchases and what was provided/covered by contractor. "A Star company owner, Mr. Jesse T. Thomas, arrived on time. He was very polite and personable. Took him to our shower enclosure in Master Bathroom. Jesse explained how repair would be done, and how long it would take. Jesse's grout expert, Manny, arrived shortly thereafter. Manny re-grouted the shower and the result was fantastic. The shower looks better now than it did when it was first installed 4 years ago. Here is the most incredible surprise. After Manny finished the shower re-grouting, he took a close look at the Roman bath tub (which is next to but separate from the shower enclosure). He decided that the tub needed re-grouting as well. With my permission, he re-grouted the tub. I expected to be charged for this extra work, but there was no additional fee. I'm 73 years old, and I have NEVER had a contractor do anything for me for free. In summary, A Star Bath & Kitchen far exceeded my expectations, did excellent work, left the master bath area sparkling clean, and will be remodeling my guest bathroom for me."

After selecting M&J Home Improvement of SA, Michael coordinated with me to schedule the repairs and provided all information I needed for my prior approval from my homeowner’s association. Michael and his crew was on time, prepped the entire interior and exterior, performed the work perfectly, and cleaned the work are every day. The work included repairing studs and header beam that had rotted. To complete, they needed to remove interior drywall, insulation, a large window, and replace the studs and beams. They then removed the damaged exterior stucco and replaced. The project took about 8 work days to complete and looks better than new. We also had ceiling and drywall damage in our garage following a summer monsoon that was also repaired at the same time.
