"With the guidance of Z&Z we were able to totally update our pool, cool deck, and equipment. Ozzie and his team of professional installers worked hard to move the project along. Some spring showers caused delays but we were always kept informed. The work area was kept clean. The first order of business was to repair a leak at the skimmer. Once that was done, Z&Z prepped the pool for replacing the old waterline tile and replastering. We were provided with a number of plaster options and encouraged to consider add-ins that we didn't know existed. The results are amazing! The coping is gorgeous travertine that will be sealed with a gloss finish to show off its texture and colors. The cool deck was updated and a lingering problem from the original pool construction (the electrical line from the light was placed above the deck but once hidden by a diving board removed long ago) was addressed. We can't wait for swim season! Pricing was transparent and fair. We recommend Z&Z to anyone looking for a solid company that provides great service."

"We choose Texas Pool Champions to build a pool spa combination. As with all construction projects, there were some unexpected things that can cause frustration. Overall though, KC and his crew did an excellent job. The tile guys were especially methodical. I was impressed with them. KC was very responsive and went above and beyond. I was out of town when the pool needed to be filled an he took care of it while staying close by to ensure the pool was filling properly. He was very hands on and responsive. He was onsite or stopped by around 95% of the time while it was being built. I find that impressive since most contract bosses don't hang around very much. The only real complaint I have was his plumbing crew. The had to redo the gas line and were not prompt, but they didn't delay the project. The project was completed when KC said it was with good quality. I paid a little bit more than I was hoping for, but the good quality and hands on nature of KC were worth it. I would recommend this company and have already recommended him multiple times."

"I just bought my first home which had a pool. Lucky me it came in a hideous tint of dark swamp green with a few frogs. I messaged a few pool companies and Jose with Lonestar pools was one of them. Majority of the companies advised me to drain my pool and the others told me it will take 2-3 weeks until its Crystal clear. Not to mention this would of costed $700-900 which is not including the water bill. Jose didn't go this route as he was extremely confident he can get my pool crystal blue and swimmable with a few short days. I obviously decided to go with him as he was very professional knowledgeable and confident in his services. I'm glad I went with Jose as he was good for his word and my pool was crystal blue in 5 days!! During those 5 days he showed up everyday to clean my filters and scrub my pool. Not to mention, 3 of the 5 days it was raining. Rain didn't stop Jose, he was outside changing my filters in the rain! Jose is a scientist when it comes to the pool chemistry. Any pool guy can drain water and pressure wash the pool but not all can figure out a pools chemistry and get it blue within a few short days. If you have a green/black pool? you need an expert and Jose is your guy! Also, Jose is very honest which is hard to find these days. When I bought my house I was told it needed resurfacing so I got 3 quotes which ranged between 5-10k. Jose does resurfacing as well and was happy to quote me too. BUT, he made it clear to me?. This is a cosmetic issue. If your eyes can handle the peeling which isn't bad then the resurfacing job can hold off for a bit. This was such a relief as I just bought 2 homes so money has been tight. Its nice to know the resurfacing can hold off until a later time. Most contractors wouldn't tell you this as they will lose the quick cash. I quickly hired him to do weekly cleanings on my pool. Jose is passionate about pools and it shows. He's a gem and I'm happy I found him. Hire him and you and your pool will forever be happy! Take my word!"
