"Jerry was amazing! He was a better communicator than I was. We bought a set of old chairs and needed them upholstered. He directed us to where we can get the fabrics since we wanted the type of leather he didn't have. He was very great in explaining what was needed and how much. The work was done incredibly fast . Another upholsterer said he'd take until Christmas, and Jerry finished the chairs within a week from dropping them off, and it took that long only because I hadn't brought the fabric that quickly. The chairs look fabulous! He changed the padding and left the old one on the side to show me that the work was necessary, which I never doubted - he's very forthcoming and transparent. I will definitely be going back to reupholster a rocker that's been sitting in the basement for a while. I warmly recommend Albert's upholstery. <br />"

"This is actually the 3rd project that Wardell's has completed for me in recent years. These guys do great work and were helpful in pointing me to the right fabric book in their vast inventory. These were 4 dreadful cushions that were on 2 chairs at our summer home in MT. The chairs are so fun that I wanted to keep them rather than shop for new ones. The fabric on them was another story and for years I covered them up with throws. After purchasing a new sofa I decided now was the time to get these re done. With the help of Wayne and my husband I found the perfect fabric and left cushions to be Upholstered. Even their Dad cracked up at the old fabric and stuffing. Two weeks later they were done and look and now sit so much better. Please keep in mind that a major portion of the cost is the fabric and this kind of work in labor intensive. These gentlemen are craftsman and every job they have done for me has been excellent. I highly recommend them."

"She came to my house and gave me an estimate to repair a broken arm on a love seat. She was very professional and courteous and accommodating enough to come to my house. <br /> She estimated $70 to repair the broken wood inside the arm. The price was reasonable but I only paid $75 for the love seat and the chair combined so I was not ready to invest that money just to fix the arm.  At some point in the future, I will be ready to have the arm fixed and without a doubt, I will have her come back and fix it. <br /> <br /> UPDATE:  I finally decided to have the broken arm fixed.  Even though a number of months had passed, Julie honored the original bid. She came to the house with a partner. They were on time and had all the supplies needed to repair the couch. They quickly and efficiently repaired the broken board inside the arm. <br /> <br /> It was impressive to watch how expertly they were able to pull back the upholstery, repair the broken board inside the arm and then replace the upholstery without any sign it had been taken apart. <br /> <br /> I had cut a portion of the dust cover off the bottom of the couch after my chihuahua ripped it open to hide under the couch. <br /> They replaced the shredded dust cover for no additional cost.  <br /> <br /> I will definitely call Julie again if/when I have any more furniture I need repaired."

"I had two old pieces of furniture and two old tool/file boxes.  The furniture included an old wooden child's school desk that was painted blue and my mother's sewing cabinet.  When they returned from Michael, they were both masterpieces.  The desk, which for many years has been hidden away under a table cloth because it was so unsightly, is now a prominent piece in my living room.  It has an exquisite wood finish - quite beautiful.  The sewing cabinet had peeling veneer and many chips and scratches.  Michael restored it to its original condition, with a wonderful finish and no evidence of its 50 years of constant use.  The two boxes (1 old wooden tool box and 1 old wooden file box) were both completely black and both looked like throw-aways.  When Michael was finished they were both wonderful pieces, restored to their natural wood.  He has a talent for bringing out both the perfections and the character of the wood, so that while the pieces are wonderfully restored, they also maintain a look that reflects their history and usage.   I was also quite pleased with Michael's pricing and timeliness.  The pieces were finished much sooner than I expected and I felt his pricing was very good.  I was so pleased that I sent an additional item (a table base) to be refinished and am equally as pleased with it.  Upon seeing the original 4 items that Michael refinished, my husband commented that he had no idea they could look so spectacular.  Michael Ensign is a true craftsman and I definitely recommend him! <br />"
