"I was very pleased with my experience with TLC.  I was frantic to find someone to come out same day to clean up carpet stains left by our dog and to remove the odor.  Our dog had gotten into something that did not agree with her tummy and left us quite a mess on our carpet.  TLC was extremely responsive and said they could send someone out same day between 12-2pm.  The technician arrived shortly after noon and immediately got to work.  I also liked the fact that when I called and when the technician came they both informed me that there is no guarantee of pet stains coming out 100% and that they could reappear.  They wanted to be honest with me of this fact since many companies will not tell you this.  After about 20-30 minutes I was asked to check the location and whether I was satisfied.  The stains were gone and the smell was gone!  I was very pleased with the service, the professionalism of the technician, and the price.  I would definitely use them again! <br />"

"We have used Simmons before and they did a beautiful job. So when we decided to replace carpet in our master bedroom thanks to Markus who helped us pick the perfect flooring, we had it installed with them. The crew that installed the flooring was very efficient and did a great job. We love our new floor and it is just beautiful."

"Technicians, Jared & Colton, did an EXCELLENT job! They were prompt (on time), very courteous, and very efficient. They called about 30 min. prior to arrival. Upon arrival confirmed work to be done and pricing. Upon completion, they suggested efficiencies to aid the drying of the carpet. I would definitely recommend these guys and ask for them by name for future service. Thanks much!!"

"Marton's was extremely courteous and professional on the phone when we called to schedule our carpet cleaning. We had to reschedule once, and they were happy to oblige. Robert gave us a courtesy call on the way over, arrived promptly as scheduled, and did a wonderful job cleaning our carpets. He even managed to remove almost all of the dried-up Play-dough from the carpet in the playroom. Best of all, we got a fantastic price for the job! We definitely plan to use Marton's from now on for our carpet cleaning needs."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Keller, TX

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
