I would like to introduce myself as Leonel Gonzalez, with 7 years of experience in the construction industry. I’ve worked in remodeling of courthouses in Texas which consisted of carpentry such as installing baseboards, cabinets, window trims, custom doors and other furniture. Therefore I also have experience in paint and stain jobs. \nConsidering my self a responsible, honest, and respectful person towards others everything I do is to provide for my family.

I am someone who loves working with my hands. I have built everything from tables and chairs to pergolas and fully functional wood shops. "They are professional painters and did an excellent job on my ceiling. I had the entryway, the living room, kitchen, laundry room and halfway popcorn removed from ceiling, retextured and then painted ceiling white paint. It was a beautiful job. The only complaint I had was one of the workers dropped or stood on my new dryer and left a dent on it, and he didn't tell me about it. I found out about it a day later. Also Anthony Hernandez was supposed to come after they finished the work to see if their work was good or if I had any complaints and he didn't do that. Other than those two things, I was pleased with the work, and I would hire them again."

"Cody was excellent in terms of getting us an accurate bid in a timely manner and following up with the install on time too. The wood is sturdy and it all looks like it was part of the original room. I was not happy with a few things. The painting was not done well and new coat had to be applied after the install which means I can see brush strokes (as opposed to having a nice even spray paint finish). Also, while Cody is professional and comfortable to work with, the assistant he brought for the install was pretty sketchy. He forgot tools, didn't know what he was doing, and generally made me uncomfortable. Finally, we had asked for holes drilled in the unit so we could access the outlet in the wall (now inside the cabinet part). It wasn't until a couple days later when the paint was dry that we went to put the lamps in and realized they drilled a hole in the back of cabinet for the outlet, but not in the top of it to drop the cord down! While I take some responsibility for not noticing it myself, it was their job to know what all needs to be done to do the job right."

"I got a deal from Berger about their table pad and just in time for my new dining room set. I didn't have time to set the template due to a new baby in the house. A few months later, they still honored my deal! WOW! I sent it in and they made the pad pretty quick. Shipping was fine and the fit was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone! Charlie Means came by about a week before the job started. He gave us a sound, itemized estimate, was professional and personable. The quote as all inclusive and he guaranteed his work. He anticipated the job would take two days. His brother Larry runs the paint crew.

Larry and the team of 5 painters showed up about 0800 as planned. They first reviewed the work to be done and gladly took on the extra work offered on the interior fireplace trim and rear storm door, and painting our address fixture over the front entry (no reservations, nothing but "Sure, we can do that!). The exterior was power washed by part of the team while the others set to work on the repairs. They did a great job here, going above the norm in my view to make sure that their fixes last! They did a great job on the painting... I haven't seen any drips or overruns. They are obviously a happy team, joking with each other and driving each other to do a superlative job, while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

There were a couple of very pleasant surprises that we did not anticipate... first, we did not get charged for the extra work we requested at the last minute. Second, they finished the two day job in less than one day (they were done, packed, cleaned up by 4PM). This greatly exceeded our expectations!

Charlie and Larry Means (and their team!) are honest, class guys. When they tell you they will do something, it gets done. I will recommend them to anyone for a repair and paint job anytime, anywhere.
