"I wanted to replace my 37 yr old cement tile roof with something a lot more appropriate for this area. I got 4 estimates and while North Creek was not the cheapest, it was $4,000 and $8,000 less than 2 of the other bids. The estimator I worked with, Evan, was very knowledgeable about all of the aspects of replacing an old tile roof with new shingles. He told me they would be able to trim down the old fascia rather than replacing it and the existing rain gutters would work fine (1 estimate said the gutters would have to be replaced and 1 said all of the fascia and the gutters would have to be replaced). He also accurately addressed the need for additional intake ventilation to match the new ridge vent that would be installed (almost 1000 additional square inches was needed - 1 company proposed adding 300 while another was not going to add any). Without adequate ventilation moisture can build up in the attic which leads to mold. The project was very well organized and professional from start to finish. The job began on time. The delivery and removal of the giant skips to haul away the old tile and construction debris proceeded like clockwork. The plywood and the new shingles were delivered and ready to go when the crew needed them. The city inspection permit was on-site at the start and the inspector showed up on the last day to sign off on it. The actual roofing crew was amazing. They worked practically non-stop for 2 very long days. Two hours of cleanup on the third day and the job was finished. Jacinto (?) came out the next day to pick up excess materials and do a final inspection of the roof. He also brought black paint to touch up a piece of flashing which was distracting because it was silver. The work was exceptional and I would recommend this company to anyone."

"Our asphalt roof is about 20 years old, however overall in good shape. About 5 years ago, we called the original roofing company regarding a leak, and they recommended Mr. Everts. He was pleasant, straightforward, and after describing our leak in detail to him, he 'triaged' our leak and gave us a window of time he could come to evaluate our leak. He called from the job prior to ours to give us an estimate when he would arrive. He was very thorough in his evaluation and explained the source and cause of the leak and gave us an estimate before doing the repair. He very quickly did the repair and we have had no problems with that area since. <br /> He also kindly educated us as to the slope of our roof and that it would be better in the long run to have a metal roof due to the slow movement of the rain run off. <br /> This month we noted a new leak in a completely different, separate part of the house. The leak was a slow drip between an eve and the outside of a masonary wall. Once again, Mr. Everts was very knowledgeable and thorough. He was able to ascertain that the leak did not involve the inside of the house or attic. He again explained his findings which included two possible sources of the leak. He proposed a repair of a certain size and was clear that if that did not solve the problem that a larger repair could be done, but that in his experience, the smaller repair would suffice. He did the discussed repair and there has been no signs of leaking during our lastest deluge of rain in the past couple of days. <br /> It was a real pleasure to work with this gentleman. Our house is over 50 years old so there have been more urgent updates needed the past couple of years, however, we will heed his advice and budget for a new metal roof this coming year. <br />"

"My first contact with the technician from POWERS was just to look into the subject of getting chimney caps, because I was having problems with moisture damage inside my house on that south-facing wall.  I spoke to the guys who did a full tear-down and rebuild of my roof a few years ago (A Better Roofing Company), and they did a FREE inspection of the roof and determined that it was intact and that the likely cause of my problem was rain saturating the inside of my chimney and migrating into that south wall near the chimney.  A Better Roofing Company does not offer chimney caps, so I checked the reviews on Angie's List and decided to call POWERS.  I was scheduled for just two days following my call, which pleased me greatly. <br> <br>On the appointed day the POWERS technician arrived on time, was courteous, professional and friendly, and went up on my roof to take measurements.  When he came down he told me my chimney had two flues and that they were a standard size, AND that he had them in his truck and could install them right now if I wished.  I agreed, and within a half hour my chimney caps were installed.  As I looked at the new chimney caps I mentioned that my brick wall was a bit past due for an application of brick sealer, and the technician told me that POWERS could do that for me too!  He took some measurements of my south wall and gave me an estimate.  I agreed, and about a week later my sealant was applied. <br> <br>I am DELIGHTED!  Typically I have bad luck finding competent, honest help who have a sense of urgency about getting the job done RIGHT the FIRST time.  Thanks to Angie's List and POWERS CHIMNEY & MASONRY, my luck may be changing!  <br> <br> <br> "

"Replacement of chimney went very well and I am very pleased with the look. Previous chimney was leaking through mortar cracks and was faced with basalt rock. It would have been very expensive to tear down and replace and Chris suggested several brick colors, dropped them over for us to consider, and drew some pictures of replacement chimney to match mid century house and neighborhood. He also reused old cap material on new chimney and was able to use material to repair rear brick chimney cap."
