"It’s now been 9 months since they completed the job and I have yet to find defects. If you want a professional, knowledgeable - "no pressure-take the time you need to decide" sales process….quality work done, excellent communication, and prompt follow up ensuring everything is done to your satisfaction -- then hire Tom Pantzer/JD Hostetter. My wife was home with our 3 kids while the installation was done over the course of a week, and she was very comfortable with the crew. His site foreman Tony genuinely cared about getting the job done right, and had a great working relationship with his crew. They worked hard and didn't waste time. I also know why Tom wasn't the cheapest. The cheapest guys we talked with seemed to care most about "we do more jobs than anyone and get them done fast..." Tom wasn't the most expensive either - he was fair and honest from start to finish. Bottom line - you get what you pay for. Nobody likes spending thousands of dollars on siding, but we feel relieved we won’t be spending thousands more to fix shoddy work down the road. We found/called Tom only because of his great reviews on Angie's List, and are glad we did."

"They did the job in the time frame they had promised. They also replaced some rotted wood as well. Communicated with us during the job on questions that occurred. We had used them for gutter cleaning before and always did a good job at a fair price for that service as well. We highly recommend them."

"Where do you start with a leak coming in from the outside? Brent's' idea was to start on the outside to fix that right, and then see if it was still leaking or not. He felt 99.9% sure that if done this way, it would be solved, and we could fix the drywall after a few rainstorms in the spring showed that it was not leaking. Other contractors thought that taking off the drywall inside to possibly see where the leak was coming from would be the correct approach. Brent is very knowledgeable about construction process and flow. He would take down the second floor siding to each side of the lobby picture window and 4 rows of shingles off the front porch roof below. He would overlay the siding and roof joint with a 36 inch cover then wrap the house with house wrap (which it did not have from the builders' contractor) Then he would take out the window, replace, install new trim boards and then cover the window/trim connection with caulk and then aluminum moldings customized on site. I went with Brent. Only 1 snafu at the beginning. Contract was signed 10/17/16 with a projected Thanksgiving date of completion. I called Brent on 11/17/16 to see if the replacement window had come in and where I stood on the schedule. The window had not been ordered due to an office staff family emergency. Ok, that happens, sooner or later to all of us. Brent then went out of his way to rush order the window and squeeze me into the schedule on the first warm enough day in December in order to not crack the vinyl siding when taking it off. The window came in on 12/9. On 12/20, the evening before it would be 50 degrees the crew of Greg and Harold showed up to clear snow & ice off the front porch roof with shovels and heat guns and leaf blowers and salt. They were careful not to dislodge the heating cables on the porch roof as well. They showed up early the next day and went right to work. It was mostly completed in 2 days, with a new J-channel having to be picked up and installed. A good to excellent experience with a knowledgeable, concerned contractor, friendly and efficient crew, and hopefully a 100% fix. I'll try to update this after a few spring storms"

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"The siding crew and the painting crew were very professional and the work was done on time as promised. David is very knowledgeable about construction and his specific business. They cleaned up after they were done and we've had tons of compliments about the new look of our house. Had one issue to fix and they came back and addressed as promised. "Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door. "We cannot say enough good things about Atlantic Siding and its owner, Jack
Malcolm. In point of fact we cannot critique one without the other.
  Our
Certainteed siding began show troubling signs of wear just three or four years
after installation. Gaps grew at the seams; slats bowed and warped; on windy
days the cumulative noise of the clattering of loose boards became unnerving;
and eventually slats began to fall from the house. We begrudgingly began the
tedious process of seeking out an honest and reputable company to re-side our
family home.
  For about three weeks, a succession of "salesmen" sat in our
living room discussing measurements, materials, and promises.  Jack Malcolm is
no salesman, but a working owner-supervisor whose word is final. He reports only
to the customer and himself.
  When Jack walked in with his thick Jamaican
accent, we slowly began to grasp that here was a man of honesty, integrity, an
absolute belief in Hardy Siding,  an enthusiastic pride in his own
craftsmanship, and a work-ethic seldom found on the American scene anymore. 
Here was a working wisdom that we grew to  trust implicitly. And we made no
mistake doing so. We struck a deal at a very reasonable price, a price to which
Jack never wavered. Once the price was set, that was it. There were no hidden or
revealed costs.
  JACK IS THE REAL DEAL. He climbs the ladders and works
along those he supervises. He exercises full oversight and follows a harsh
schedule, overseeing every detail of every task with the cautious eye of long
experience. Jack actually cares about the finished product which he calls his
true "signature" and drives his men in a pursuit of QUALITY, not quantity, and
that's a very rare attitude in these days of paying top dollar for minimal
effort. The men that work at Jack Malcolm's side are no apprentices, but veteran
craftsmen each  trained by Jack individually over DECADES and experienced in the
art of dressing a home's exterior.
  Over the two weeks needed to re-side
our 3850 square-foot house, Jack made suggestions and offered his working
experience on so many refining points. His painters  detailed our homes exterior
woodwork and guttering. [ At one point he even installed a storm door over a
side door to the garage. Why? To protect the woodwork and jams from the weather,
a detail ignored by the original builders. I bought a door at Lowes, and one day
Jack, with one of his men, installed it beautifully. ] Vents were covered with
cages once he discovered a bird presence. Torn screens found experienced hands
to repair them. Faux-shutters were painted and re-anchored to our front brick.
  In the end, our home was astonishingly beautiful and renewed, far beyond
that provided by the siding alone. The care and detailing, the work ethic, the
experience and taste, for a most conservative price tag, and with an overall
enthusiasm and old world craftsmanship, make my wife and I want to proclaim our
complete admiration for the Atlantic Siding Company. Well done and thank you so
