"Let me start by saying I never write reviews. It took a long time to decide which flooring company to hire to refinish the floors. We finally decided on Floor Coverings International Chester County. Ed came out to our house to give us an estimate. When he was there he saw our 3 small dogs and also mentioned that we needed to put our dogs someplace when the floors were being refinished. They came and finished the floor which was the entire downstairs of the house. It cost $7000. All I cared about was that they would do a good job and if there was a problem they would resolve the issue. One of the dogs had an accident in the house which caused a dark stain (anyone that has dogs knows this could happen). When I called them there response was that is was urine and there was nothing they could do. We have had floors refinished before and have NEVER had any issues. Ed never mentioned that there could be an issue because of the dogs. We have attempted to contact them many times by phone and email with no response and we even tried to contact the owner. Just on a further note there are other issues such as small spots in the kitchen. Whatever product they used had no protective coating. If anything gets on the flooring it stains it. Bottom line is Flooring International does not stand by their work. When you call them they do not call back. They only thing they care about is selling the product. Please do not use them."

"RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND DO NOT LOOK BACK! Nick Toto is a total FRAUD!!!! We unfortunately found him on Angi. We did not do our due diligence and find his REAL reviews including from his previous company name. Everything that people reported about him in the REAL reviews, was true. He was dishonest in his quote. He asked for ½ the payment in the very beginning to buy material and never bought it. He then asked for the other half of the payment, and did demo and a little bit of work that we now know was all wrong since we got a real contractor. He walked off the job and left us with an unusable house because we refused to give him even more money to still purchase and install things that he was supposed to have already purchased and budgeted to install in the beginning. All I can say is, ;RUN AWAY"

"I hired Solis home remodelling to remove the counter top over the washing machine and to install the box cover. While removing the counter top, there was significant damage done to the dry wall. I did not expet the damage to dry wall and it was not mentioned by the handyman before starting the project about the possible damage to the dry wall. Otherwise I would have thought about alternate options to save from the damage. He did not seem to be concerned about the damage at all. Then he said he would fix it for another $350. I heard banging noise while removing the counter top. He could have been more gentle and thoughtful about this project. I have no confidence in hiring him again to fix the dyr wall, because the bottomline is, eventhough he was very polite and professional (in communicating) he does not seem to know what he is doing."

"We are working on a plan to replace windows and repaint as we go.Cliff from Freshcoat was very helpful and when windows were replaced in Master Bedroom on Tuesday his crew came in 2 days later and bedroom was finished by Friday.We plan to continue with Cliff and Freshcoat for entire house as funds are available.They use Sherwin Williams paints for all jobs and the results were outstanding on Master Bedroom."
