"We are absolutely in love with our new shower. We hired West Shore Homes to remove our existing tub/shower combo and replace it with a new shower. The installers Jordan and Tim were very customer oriented and technically skilled. They arrived per the schedule and completed the installation in a very reasonable amount of time. All while being courteous enough to answer all of our questions. The installation was very high quality, and included replacement of the existing drywall behind the shower with plywood sheets. This provided a rock solid backing for the acrylic material that we selected. Additionally, all of the components used were of stellar quality. As I indicated, we absolutely love the finished product and have no qualms about recommending West Shore Homes for this type of work."

There was no question that we wanted Steve Everett of Dream Maker Bath and Kitchen to remodel our bathroom, as he had remodeled our kitchen 2 years ago and we were very familiar with his integrity, professionalism, skill and dedication. It took about 5 weeks to complete the job, and that is about what we expected. Steve hires only top notch professionals to work with him, so they were all very skilled, hard working, prompt, pleasant and made every effort to coordinate their schedule and to minimize disruption to our household. They removed part of a wall, which enlarged our bath to accommodate an extra set of storage cabinets, and made a porcelain tiled shelf on the window box behind the free standing tub. We joked that it would be a great place to set a wine glass! Our old shower was enlarged and replaced with a glass enclosed, tiled shower. The dual sinks were replaced along with the cabinets and counter top. Flooring was replaced with porcelain tile. We love our "new" master bath and kitchen! Every day feels like we are on vacation and staying in a luxury condo! If you have an idea for your kitchen and/or bath, Steve Everett can make it come to life! We highly recommend him!"

"The planning and work done was outstanding. We had talked to 4 other remodelers and found WaterStone to be the most detailed and open to our needs. The finishes in the new bathroom are stunning. Even when the shower glass company came to install the glass they were so taken by the bathroom that they had to take pictures of the new shower. They could not believe the tile work. The counter top and cabinets are wonderful. So we are very pleased with WaterStone and would recommend they to everyone."

"We selected DMV based on our previous experience with the company, starting with Rolando who successfully remodeled our kitchen and 3 baths back in 2015. This time we had an emergency and Javier responded quickly, asking his men to remove a cracked tub and demolish the surrounding tiles. In their place they installed a new tub and plumbing plus beautiful new tiles for the surrounding wall, adding 2 grab bars, one for the tub and the other for the Master shower to prevent our slipping and falling. They cleaned the grout in our Master shower and Hall tub, applied silicone and sealant, and painted the baseboard and wall near the tub. Aside from the work in the bathroom and shower, they replaced the screen in an exterior window, secured some areas in the garage ceiling with screws, and removed, painted and reinstalled our exterior shutters. During the early, uncertain days of the Pandemic when we were nervous to have anyone do remodeling inside our house, we asked Javier to do some work outdoors. He ordered a wood storage shed from Home Depot and it was delivered to our front yard without telling anyone. The DMV men unpacked the box and discovered some necessary parts were missing so returned to Home Depot to buy them. They leveled the slope in our backyard and set the foundation for the shed. Then they added shingles, windows, doors, and a ramp. They painted the outside of the shed and added a ramp, selecting a sturdier paint for the latter. They installed a screen all around the bottom edge of the shed to provide ventilation and keep the animals out. Finally they moved the items to be stored from our garage to the new shed, opening up more space in the garage for the remodeling of the 1st and 2nd floors of our house. The workmen skillfully disassembled and/or moved furniture, file cabinets, supplies, and 100s of books and other items to different locations in the house and garage. Then they installed new lighting: 53 recessed lights, 9 dimmers, and a new electrical outlet near the vanity. When a bookcase was added on the right side of my new digital organ they moved the organ to the left along with 2 recessed lights shining above the organ to more effectively illuminate the music rack. And finally they installed a special circuit breaker for the organ. They installed cabling for 3 internet connections to the computer network giving access to the basement, living room, and 2nd floor. They installed the wiring for electrical power to 3 printers, one on each floor. Next they replaced our carpet with beautiful hardwood floors in 7 rooms, a small hallway, and a stairway. They removed 5 single doors on the 2nd floor and replaced them with solid core doors. They installed and painted 2 bi-folding doors for our utility closets. They painted the walls in 7 rooms, a small hallway, and a stairway first removing wallpaper in one room and 2 wall borders. They took special care in the den, repairing one wall and a big hole in the ceiling before painting. They did a great job of painting the ceilings, touching up 4 textured ceilings and smoothing out 3 others in a more elaborate process that included repairing drywall and removing texture, preparing the ceiling for painting, and then actually painting it. They installed and painted shoe molding in 7 rooms. And last but not least they repaired bathroom door frame and painted the nearby wall and a baseboard that had some paint splotches from a previous job. The DMV workmen did some additional jobs not related to repairing and painting walls and ceilings, or installing hardwood floors. The installed 5 smoke detectors, 7 curtain rods, a new Bosch dishwasher, and new blinds to replace blinds accidently damaged. They caulked a bathtub, cleaned grout in a shower and caulked the area near its door. In order to prevent heavy bookcases from toppling over they secured 10 bookcases to the wall. And in a final visit they even tightened screws in the kitchen cabinets installed by the previous DMV contractor. The price seems reasonable because sometimes they did extra work not previously budgeted like extra painting or changes when were not satisfied or had new ideas. "Allen Metcalf is an artist. He doesn’t just build something, he creates. This is the second project he has done for us and replaced a small deck outside our sunroom that as rotting. Allen pointed out that more than one piece of structural wood needed replacing. He also pointed out where the deck and addition weren’t properly anchored to the house. He submitted a 14 page estimate detailing everything he would be using and doing. "Everything was simply unforgettable! I responded to an ad for Black Friday Special: name your price for the job with no reasonable offer refused! I emailed the company letting them know I wanted some rotten wood replaced on the window dormer and a ceiling repaired and painted. Mike said he would trust what and wanted and the price of $400.00. The carpenter and the painter arrived early. Mike arrived shortly and went over what needed to be done. I had purchased treated lumber so Mike purchased with receipt the correct wood. The carpenter quickly saw that more rotten wood had to be replaced than anticipated. The carpenter had to do wood cutting to frame and restore the dormer as well as insulate, caulk and prime the untreated wood. Needless to say, the handyman special turned out to be a skillful carpentry job. Mike, nevertheless kept the price at $400.00, which also included the plaster repair for the ceiling as well as painting the entire ceiling. I had been told in the past by two contractors that the ceiling job was complicated. Mike and his painter made the job uncomplicated and the result was simply great!"
