The owner, Laz, came from Miami to my home in West Delray to give me an estimate. He said my current unit was too small, and that after 12 years it was time to replace it. "This was an Angies List coupon for $99 worth of 3 hours of grout restoration or re-grouting.  I was apprehensive about purchasing the coupon but am happy that I did.  The Service people did a wonderful job.  This was an old bathroom that had never been re-grouted.  There were several areas where the grout was totally missing.  The service men (sorry that I do not have their names), did a phenomenal job considering that they were there for only 1 1/2 hours (2 men = 3 hours).  I spoke to John the owner to schedule the work and I have to say that I was very pleased how everything turned out.  The bathroom looks 100% better.  Thank you for such a great job.

"I was not sure what was wrong so I called these guys, described what I knew, and they said they would come look at it. They said there was an $85 minimum charge for an assessment but that it would be credited toward any kind of services and equipment that I needed. They showed up within 2 hours and even called me ahead of time to double check that I would be there. Once they arrived they checked several things before opening up the unit and then showed me where the electrical part of the system had melted, likely due to a power surge. So it had to be replaced, but they said they could replace the whole system (inside, outside and thermostat) that day. They even got a crane because the outdoor unit is on the roof of my condo unit. The techs were all quick, polite and respectful. They also helped provide photos and documentation should we need to submit a claim to the homeowners insurance company. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat. Big thanks to Alex Rodriguez and his team."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
