"Great experience, easy to deal with and was able to complete the job same day as estimate. Start to finish from the first phone call to job completion was only 2 days. Most other companies were at least a week for an estimate and then they would have to schedule an installer to come back on a different day, Snyder sent a tech out to do the estimate which was on par or slightly less then other companies and then he did an above average install. His install went way beyond how I was proposing to do it and definitely a lot nicer of an install."

"I would give these folks twenty stars if I could. They were professional, thorough and reasonably priced....most of all they provided a solution for a clogged, compromised sewer pipe that otherwise could have been disastrous. My recently purchased house was built in 1968 and soon after moving in, the drain kept clogging. After jetting the line and an initial de-scaling/cleaning attempt, the video that was taken revealed that my sewer pipe under my slab was severely compromised, fractured and with holes in multiple spots. Other tradespeople I spoke with said that my floor and slab would need to be cut open to dig out the old sewer pipe and replace it with PVC---an ENORMOUS expense and undertaking.I am so glad I called Jax Hydro-Jetters. They were able to re-line the existing sewer pipe with a strong, durable coating without disrupting my home. Problem solved. I can't tell you the peace of mind they brought to me and my husband. It is priceless and I am forever grateful. I would HIGHLY recommend you call them for any clogging disruption you are experiencing in your home. You will be so happy you did."

"Gary is very detail oriented and I was able to communicate with him through the entire process with ease. Our home went from a 1968 time capsule with Avocado Green Appliances & Shag Carpets to a Beautiful Modern Home. We were able to customize all aspects of our home to suit our needs. After getting quotes and after some contractors failed to even quote the project Gary was a blessing. He delivered everything he promised and worked with us from beginning to end to make sure we were happy with the final product. Gary made our house Our Home."

"Our AC went out after 26 years of use... time for a new one! I contacted 3 local experienced AC companies to diagnose and offer the system they think would be the best fit. Lance from Crystal Air did a phenomenal job with the evaluation and listened to my concerns. They came back with a great price on a Trane system with the tonnage and SEER I was looking for. Installation was smooth and completed faster than expected. Richard and his crew did a great job completing the work and explaining how to work the new system. They put in a "scoop" to help more air get to a room that runs hot. My only complaints are the door to the air handler closet sticks, and the hole through my exterior wall for the new condensate drain line was cut a little large, and needed a healthy amount of sealant. Overall, the AC works great and we are happy with the installation."

FAQs for basement drainage channels installation projects in Keystone Heights, FL

Expect a well-built French drain to last 30 to 40 years. By channeling both surface- and ground-water away from your foundation, the system relieves hydrostatic pressure and helps prevent costly structural damage. Choose a pipe with a quality cloth filter to keep sediment out and extend the drain’s life. A quick annual inspection and routine cleanouts will keep water flowing freely, ensuring the system continues to protect your home for years to come.

Most French drains sit two feet below grade, but depth ultimately depends on the problem you’re solving. For puddling rainwater or snowmelt, a shallow curtain drain at lawn level often does the trick. To handle rising groundwater, pros dig deeper, down to the footing, and run the pipe beneath the basement slab. A drainage contractor will determine the optimal depth for your specific soil conditions and water issues.

A properly installed interior French drain captures water at the slab, channels it to a sump pit, and directs it safely outside, preventing basement floods before they occur. Because the pipe sits just under the floor edge, a plumber can reach it easily for cleaning or repairs. Pairing the drain with a reliable sump pump gives you the best long-term protection.

Hire a contractor who installs drainage systems every day—typically a foundation specialist, drainage contractor, experienced landscaper, or plumber with waterproofing experience. These pros understand slope, soil, and local codes, and they have the equipment to trench safely around utilities. Ask for references and photos of recent jobs to be sure they can design a system that keeps water off your foundation for decades.

Once the drain is in, patch the yard by reseeding bare spots or replacing plants the crew removed. Inside, look for ways to add value—finishing the basement or upgrading interior waterproofing while the space is open often costs less now than later. Schedule a quick annual checkup to flush sediment and confirm the pipe and sump pump are clear. Consistent maintenance ensures the drain functions properly and protects your investment.

Most policies don’t cover the cost of repairing a French drain itself, but they may provide coverage for water damage if the system fails. Coverage varies by insurer, so be sure to read the fine print or contact your agent before any issues arise. If you live in a high-risk flood zone, consider a separate flood policy to close the gap. Knowing your coverage in advance helps you budget for repairs and avoid unexpected costs.
