"My siding project was started late in the year. I was concerned about the crew getting caught in the cold weather but they were well prepared and every morning they were ready to go. The crew jumped right into the tasks with little guidance and stayed busy all day. They talked and joked frequently but that seemed to keep their mood and energy up. There were few problems except for some cold mornings and frost that could affect ladder work.  Also included was new Sherwin Williams 20 year paint  on the wood trim  and 3 kitchen windows were installed. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
