"They were through and completed everything in a timely fashion. They kept me informed on what they were doing and on what was needed to remodel my property. I highly recommend them. They could do everything that was needed. In fact I don't think there is anything that they can't do. They were a pleasure to work with."

"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. Looking forward to see how they last their first winter."

"After getting about 6 estimates, we chose JC for their quality of workmanship based on Coby's sales abilities. We got a 40 year roof for less than some quoted us for a 30 year roof. We were kept informed of all progress in scheduling out project and given plenty of notice before the job began. I was overwhelmed with the speed and completeness of the job. They could have easily finished in 2 days had it not been for inspection delays. They cleaned up very well everyday. It wasn't immaculate but it was much better than I had anticipated. They put a new roof on our neighbors house at the same time and we are both thrilled."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Kingsburg, CA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
