"He and his team were personable polite and he was clearly very skilled Fixed all the problems with a 80+ double chimney that had been deferred maintenance when we bought the house. So pleased with his work that we had him go do some repairs on my mother’s brick porch. He is also a good communicator and gives great customer service. Would definitely recommend and use again"

"I was satisfied with my consultation/inspection of my old chimney. I did not purchase a wood stove or chimney liner this year, only because I just purchased this old cabin and I am still trying to decide whether I will be able to renovate it, or if it will need to be completely torn down and rebuilt. The store does push it's own brand of wood stove; however, from all the research I have done, it appears to be a quality line. Additionally, I contacted a friend after my inspection to go over the prices quoted by Dan's for the chimney liner and wood stove. I wanted another professional's opinion...my friend was the owner of a wood stove store for many years. This friend advised that prices quoted by Dan's for the liner, wood stove and labor were very reasonable, given the quality of products. Again, I did not actually have a wood stove installed - I only paid for an inspection. But, I was satisfied with my inspection and the products offered by the store. My plan is to use Dan's when I make the decision on where and when to have a wood stove installed."

"I do not usually give out A grades, someone really has to knock my socks off. Mr. Rossetti is getting one for one main reason and I hope other providers read this to see why. Out of the 8 different masons that I attempted to contact, he was the only one who actually came to our house, looked at the job, and discussed the options with us. Of the others who actually bothered to return our calls, the most we got was a one line text message with a price. Technology is great, but if I am asking you to do do masonry work for me, the chances are pretty good that I am not a masonry expert myself and would like to have an actual conversation about the project with someone who is. Mr. Rossetti was not the lowest bid, but he was very professional and prompt, and the job looks great. I would definitely recommend him."

"Curt and his helper showed up on time.   They took down the first of the 2 fans to be replaced.  Then, while assembling the first new fan and 4 foot down rod (both purchased at Home Depot) Curt pointed out that the down rod did not correctly fit the motor assembly and would have to be cut, and a new hole drilled in the down rod.   I decided rather than doing that, I would return the down rod to Home Depot and get one that would work, and he agreed, saying he would come back when I have the new rod.  <br /> I went to Home Depot.  The staff at Home Depot did their best to convince me that Curt didn't know what he was talking about, and the 4 foot rod (a Hunter rod, the only 4 foot rod the Home Depot sells) would fit the Hampton Glendale fan they sold me.  So I went back home, but something did not feel right.  Either Home Depot was right or Curt was right and I needed more proof.  So the next day I sent my wife (I had to work) to take both the fan and the down rod to Home Depot and make them show her it fit.  She did that.  Home Depot tried to make it fit, and it did not, and finally one of their staffers said "you'll have to cut it."  <br /> Long story short, Curt and his helper came back, cut the down rods, drilled the holes, installed the fans.  They work fine, look great. <br /> Curt charged me $175.00 for installing the 2 fans, and that included both visits.  For comparison, Home Depot charges $150 to install one fan.  So I got a bargain.  Both of us got the runaround from Home Depot though.   I learned that the short down rods that come with fans almost always fit, but be careful when buying longer down rods!   While at the store make them show you the longer rods fit! <br />"
