"This is my second review of work performed by Rock 'n Gardens. Our first project—a large walkway/patio/entry installation--was so successful that we contracted for a short matching walkway to the front door with the leftover stone. The design challenge in this second project was to artfully tie the new work into three massive existing stone slabs so that the walkway would complement the scale of the existing slabs while not overwhelming the front of the house. Once again, we are delighted with the finished job. As with our first experience, professionalism, communication, and timeliness throughout this project were top notch. In fact, with a cold snap predicted, the Rock 'n Gardens crew, on their own initiative, arranged to finish the installation on a Saturday before the bad weather hit. That's above and beyond in my book. When we are ready for more stonework, we will definitely be calling Rock 'n Gardens."

His workers were very hard working and accomplished much in a short period of time. My project took a day and half to complete. Jacob did a walk around after to go over and things I might have had concerns with. All the clean up was handled well and left our place looking great! Highly recommended!"

I hired them to design and install a garden, and the result is nothing short of a work of art - without comprising anything on function. I will also add that while Gaia were on the garden project, my general contractor disappeared. I asked Dan for advice on how to get a range of other projects done. Gaia themselves took on some of the work, including designing and installing a sweet new deck and upgrading my windows. Where the tasks were outside of their capabilities, Dan gave me numerous and great referrals so I was able to rebuild a team. Frankly, I couldn't be happier than my general contractor disappeared. Next time, I'll go straight to Gaia!"

"I could not recommend Harold's Enterprises more highly. I reached out to Harold based on his listing on Angie's List before I bought my home--free of charge, he took a look at the roof on a property I was considering buying--giving me an estimate and advice. His help led me to find that the sellers were dishonest about the condition of and work done on their roof, and I purchased a different property in Hudson, NY. My home is a 1927 Craftsman that needed quite a bit of work. I hired Harold based on his honesty and responsiveness in helping me evaluate the first property. True to form, his estimate and ultimate cost to repaint the entire interior, repair and sheetrock floors and ceilings, refinish and replace hardwood floors, completely remodel a bathroom, rewire and install light fixtures, match original woodworking, install cabinetry, windows, and appliances, and even assist with installing new furniture, were more than reasonable. Better yet, the quality of his work was of the highest caliber. He has restored and improved a lovely home, and I am so thankful! I have to say that most of all, I am so happy with Harold's professionalism and diligence. Not every contractor is known for staying on the job and completing it on time. Especially in my situation, where I am a single woman trying to restore a second home when I live out of state--I assumed I would have difficulty in getting any contractor to be present and complete the job on time. However, this was never a problem. Harold was always there, was immediately responsive, and never slacked off when I wasn't there. I plan to work with Harold as much as possible in the future as I continue to improve my Hudson home. I recommend him very highly."

They worked all day and pruned, trimmed bushes and even tied all of our arborvitae up so they grow more full. His price was significantly better than any other quote I had received.
